Our wifi is currently not working so I cant do shit on my pc and I write this stuff in notion (mostly because I‘m pretty used to it) and I fucking hate writing this much on my phone
let alone rereading it. There is a reason I dont read fanfics on my phone and just do it on my pc.
Also this is very all over the place and its mostly just domestic fluff, because I'm a sucker for that in case it wasnt already obvious enough somehow. Plus all of this basically falls under yaay everyone is alive and happy sorta universe (aka after the events of stay and Henry somehow magically survived that shit)
first things first animals I see them as/associate with them
for Yan-chan a manul which one of my twt mutual suggested (@/univers3m) and I thought it fit. Just feels right
for Henry, either a crow or a raven both works. Also just feels right (I know he has a diff fav animal in the movie but that doesnt mean I have to see him as that, soooo)
Just in general for Henry, I feel like he would need some type of mobility aid after the accident. Not constantly, but he does need crutches or even a wheelchair whenever the pain is too much (also I would like to add @goslingplier-rambles lovely headcanon that he also needs hearing aids, which I think is great)
I think they have movie nights at least once a week. While they also watch normal movies, they end up watching documentaries quite often. Henry usually picks some about his favourite artists and drops a few fun facts here and there, but stays usually quiet. Yan-kun on the other hand picks up some true crime documentaries. Both from cold and solved cases. For the cold cases he speculates throughout the whole thing based on the limited evidence presented who it could have been and for the solved cases what she would have done different than the actual killer to not get caught.
(the next two points are both pre introduction) Personally to me they met on campus, (btw double major Yandereiplier over here doing both forensic science and forensic pathology. How realistic that is? idk, I'm working on getting a bachelor of the arts. But we can pretend that that is totally achievable) both not actively following each other (well maybe Yan-chan a little bit) but noticing the other one whenever they are around.
Yan-chan def enjoys photography and every time she gets home and looks at the photos he took throughout the day Henry is at least on one of them. Sometimes he is supposed to be the focus of the picture, sometimes he just happens to be there. Meanwhile Henry keeps on sketching the pretty stranger he constantly spots, but whenever he tries to ask someone about her, no one seems to have even seen her. Ultimately Henry introduces himself first, because he is starting to think he's hallucinating (very happy about the fact that he wasn't tho)
They at some point have matching rings and keychains. Henry got a manul (I wonder why) and Yandereiplier got a walrus (or whatever it was in the movie. I cant remember the actual name. A potato has better memory than I do)
They kinda need each other to fall asleep or at least to make it easier. Henry just has a hard time actually falling asleep, which results in him staying up until he is too exhausted. So they just end up laying there in each others arms, Yan-chan actually asleep, while Henry just enjoys the silence as much as possible and tries to make sure that everything is okay.
