My Little Lily

I'm Annalise, I live with my wonderful man Gary and we have a beautiful baby girl Lily 27.09.11. I hope you enjoy reading my post about raising my little lady, me learning to be a mum and watching her grow.

Lily turned 4 months last week!!

Quick update. She can now roll over from her front to her back quite easily and has rolled from her back to her front once, she grabs and reaches out for things like a pro, she loves to chat and shout all day long and is just a super happy little baby. Her favourite things to do is fly with daddy. She wakes 1-2 times a night most of the time. 

She is the most wonderful thing in our lives.

Lily had her 4 month jabs today and she was soooo good!

She cried for about 5 seconds, shouted at the nurse in her own special way and then was smiley again.

Sophie the Giraffe Teether Toy

is her favourite toy at the moment and to be honest it's my favourite too. 

When I first saw it I laughed because to me it looked and sounded (it squeaks) like a dog toy and I thought there is no way she would want to play with it but out of all the teether toys we have this is the one she likes the most.

It's easy for her to hold because of it's shape, its light so if she hits herself it doesn't bother her, it's super flexy and the squeaky noise makes her smile. As soon as she see's it she puts on her "put it in my mouth" face. I take it every where we go!

- Lily hated it at first too! I just kept putting her back on it every now and then to get her used to it and now she loves it! Hahah I hate it when that happens it's like they know!!  xx

Lily rolled over on her mat! I put her back on her tum and she did it again 4 times :) I am so proud right now

We went to see the health visitor today. 

Lily is now 12lbs 13oz :)

- It is by far the best thing in the world! Damn our boobs. They are ruining great memories. I think I am going to film it one time for my own personal baby collection! I am finding it much easier but it is still a little painful. I don't honestly know when I will stop. My original goal was 3 months and we already past that so I think I will just go with the flow.  How are you finding it? Can't believe how fast your little one is growing!! She is such a cutie too xx

Every time I feed Lily

Half way through she comes off my boob to chat, giggle and smile for about 5 minutes. I see it as her way of thanking me for the milk! If it wasn't for the fact my boob is out I would have filmed it for you all because it is the cutest thing in the world.
