Inspired by Sharon Tate

In The Fearless Vampire Killers (released 1967) Sharon portrayed Sarah Shagal, the beautiful young daughter of the local innkeeper.  Produced under the auspices of Martin Ransohoff, directed by future husband Roman Polanski, and shot entirely in Europe, it was Sharon’s 2nd role following her debut in Eye of the Devil.

Remembering those who tragically lost their lives this day: Sharon Tate, her unborn child, Jay Sebring, Abigail ‘Gibbie’ Folger, Wojciech Frykowski and Steven Parent.

It is important to recognize that these people were more than “victims” and to refer to them simply as that is disrespectful to their memories. These human beings lived, breathed, and accomplished during their lifetimes, as short as they may have been. They were loved, they are missed, and they deserve to be remembered for the lives they lived. Remember them as people, don’t degrade them as “victims”.

May these souls rest in peace.

I suppose that had something to do with the way we lived — always on the move, never living in one town very long. It’s very hard to make lasting friendships that way.
