Overall synopsis (for anyone who is newly interested):

A Gravity Falls AU idea where, in 1982, Stan threw a rope to Ford as he was being pulled into the portal. He let go of his journal in favor of grabbing the rope and it was lost to Bill’s dimension. Stan had saved him and for that, he was grateful. They talked and forgave each other for the past and all seemed well for as much as a day. That was when Bill’s ruthless anger became apparent and he took full advantage of his deal with Ford. Thirty years later, the demon is still punishing them for their refusal to rebuild the portal.

Chapter Summary:

Dipper makes amends and joins forces with Soos to discover a new exhibit for the Shack. Mabel is exhausted after the boy band incident and looks for ways to recover. Wendy is exhausted from her emotional night and strange dream. Stan is exhausted from just… Everything but has a talk with Xolotl and leads a tour anyway. Waddles means well but gets in the way.

Notes:

Warnings - None this time. Just a lot of people being tired. But is there is a bit of fluff and a moment of Stan and Mabel bonding. This is mostly a bridge chapter between the events of Boyz Crazy and Land Before Swine - Just filling some gaps and tying up some loose ends. Mabel experienced Boyz crazy pretty much the same as in canon so it’s only referenced here where things were different. Most of Land Before Swine follows canon pretty closely for the (upstairs) Pines as well so it’s handled the same.
