I was listening to a podcast and they were talking to one of Tumblr’s lead support engineers and he told them that he was currently in one of the biggest conference rooms, trying to look important so that nobody would disturb him

But that someone had come in earlier and dusted the many plants that were in there with him.

That seems like an oddly appropriate action for Tumblr

Tumblr in Yahoo purple anyone? Seeing as I keep seeing jokes about it (ignore the greenish gradients. Couldn't find them in the CSS)

I was taken aback by it but once I scrolled a bit I seen that its pretty useful, I like it

Definitely a step in the right direction usability-wise. Maybe changing notifications to grey (or white) wasn't the best, but that's so minor it's not worth worrying about right?

Yeah, marked improvement in UI/UX. Only issues I can see with it (that aren't caused by people making graphics at 1 size only) is that the floating avatars look like they were just dropped there as an afterthought and not stylized at all.

Also, apparently it doesn't work in Internet Explorer, which should probably be addressed despite the fact that most people hate IE

That's just my opinion on it. Sure, it's probably more informed than most people ranting about it for the sake of ranting, but it's still an opinion

EDIT: Seems avatars are stylised. Either that just changed or the rounded corners were so slight I didn't notice

For those of you complaining about things not looking right on some themes, that's the theme makers problem....and those graphics should have been prepared for small changes such as the ones I'm seeing here anyway.

I know it was never advertised on the metope page and I'm not hosting it, but here's an unofficial poster for an upcoming metope (I've edited it slightly into a Halloween one because it's that time of year again)

Quick question Tumblr: we're all for letting people wear what they want without being thought less of as a result, right? (e.g. less skin covered doesn't equal "slut") So why are people who wear fedoras constantly compared to MRAs?
