Those scenes with the lil irken dude who kept telling The Tallest that they had to make a turn if they wanted to avoid crashing onto a whole planet and a wormhole but the Tallest kept mocking him for being the one (1) character on the entire show with more than one brain cell because they refused to move in anything but a straight line... peak comedy

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember Dib being canonically 10. So this would mean the movie is set 2 years in the future from the series (since Dib stated he's 12.)

I kind of miss the never-wrong, stoic version of Gaz from the series. She was more interactive in the movie and less standoffish. But it makes sense, its been a LONG time between the series' and movie's productions, plus the canon 2 years gave her time to grow up a little and change.

Learning more about Prof Membrane was so rad as well, we got to see more personality, and honestly he cared way more about his kids in the movie than he did in the series.

I can see the inspiration from the "lost episodes", Zim on the couch having given up on his mission was from the episode that SoapyWaffles made. (Invader Con was such a rad thing)

The movie honestly reminded me of reading a really good fanfiction. everyone was involved, there were callbacks to the series like the snowman from the christmas episode and the tallest reminescing about the first episode when they sent Zim off to find a "fake" planet.

I'm so glad this movie was made and I enjoyed it thoroughly!! Cant wait for the second-coming of Invader Zim in HotTopic lmao
