My doman ffxiv oc! He’s so sweet I love him 🥹

I promise I’ll actually draw Watson when I have the time, but in the meantime, here are some little details about him exclusively (my oc x canon OC for those who don’t know)

- His real name is Yuuto Tamashiro, Watson is a name given to him by Alisae since he does not know his true name.

- His design is based off of actual Japanese mythology, his long hair coming from Onryō spirits, and the singled-out eyes can come from multiple Japanese spirits, but my main inspiration was Mokumokuren.

- The original inspiration for his design was geishas, and that can be seen through the bold red lip.

Some more little details about my oc x canon ship (Alphinaud Leveilleur x Watson)

- before they met, Watson’s spirit often appeared in Alphinaud’s dreams, and Alphinaud would draw him from memory

- Alphinaud gifts Watson a novel on optometry due to his odd fascination with eyes

- Whenever the Leveilleurs are out, Watson likes to tidy up Alphinaud’s room (he’s scared many staff members doing this).

- not necessarily oc x canon, but when Watson meets Y’shtola, he is very intrigued by her eyes.

Some little things about my oc x canon ship (Alphinaud x Watson)

- they like to brush each others hair

- Watson, after finding out that Alphinaud is afraid of ghosts, is very careful approaching him as to not startle him

- whenever it’s too quiet, Watson will say a random fact about eyes that has nothing to do with the conversation

- They like feeding bunnies together

- Not necessarily Alphinaud and Watson, but Alisae and Watson like to do makeup together :)
