I am a part time high-tech AAC user. I primarily use symbol-based AAC and many of my posts will be copied and pasted from my AAC app so grammar is unlikely to be good. my pronouns are ae / aer ( to anyone who has my other social media, these are my preferred pronouns. I just use different on social media that people who know me in real life see as I am not out to anyone in real life )

am also intersex but anyone who says anything bad about that in my inbox will be blocked. questions are okay but hate is not

I post about AAC, disability and ghosts especially cbs right now but I do love them all

I use Avaz, I live in the United Kingdom and I am autistic, dyslexic and dyspraxic

I also have limb differences, ADHD and seizures

I use crutches for other problems ( and sometimes wheelchair ) but crutches make using my AAC difficult as I can't use it while walking

also have cuddly toy and his name is Hammer. do not worry, he does not bite

Hetty from ghosts cbs is my favourite ghost

because guess which person with an unidentified wheat problem ate 4 croissants yesterday ( because do not know if have coeliac yet am supposed to keep eating gluten but not that much ) and now feels very very sick

weight loss affecting bone area first is evil

like am not losing enough for doctors to think there issue ( apparently still weigh too much ) but am losing it in very inconvenient places

hips now hurt laying down or sitting. ribs even hurt when arms just rest on them

standing up for long time already hurts because have to stand on one leg but now laying down and sitting hurt too

now can not sleep because my hip is in my mattress

am also cold all the time now. it 20 degrees celsius outside. am cold and shivering

but yes am fine because number on scale might go down soon ( sarcasm )

have headcanon that ghosts and Jay all play D&D ( as two groups probably because 8 ( edit : 7 ( edit : 8 again because Jenkins )) player D&D often not work well )

considering making character sheets for what I think all their characters would be ( plus using the info we get on Sasappis, Alberta and Pete's actual characters from the episode ) for fun

edit : apart from Isaac because he did not like it but during D&D, he can simply have him and Nigel time or him and basement ghost time. so he gets something out of it too

edit 2 : as someone suggested in the comments Jenkins can take Isaac's spot

Yesss!!! They probably taught him breathing exercises to regulate the stomach pain and what to do to avoid any possibly anxiety from the stomach cramps

They can't really use heat pads nor anything like that so they probably taught him how to rub his hands together to get them warm and then place them atop of his abdomen to ease the pain a little! uvu!!

I also think they probably specified to not push in with hands otherwise hurts more ( know because I have done this myself many times in absence of hot water bottle *) so only lightly place

apparently going get new brace thing soon. but not regular brace because regular brace would damage leg bad

apparently may get one that for foot ankle knee and hip and then go under foot too somehow. also molded to own leg

have thoughts

good thoughts because have been dealing with right leg for too long. also bad thoughts. partially internalised ableism that need confront and get over. partially idea that something new on body and not sure how feel about new thing. it not even just " on body ". it be " part of body " at this point

feel guilty over how like summer. know heat bad for many disabled people. but self shivering in 19 degrees right now. absolutely thrive at 20 + or even 30 +

earlier in hottest part of day was outside in sun while wrapped up in jumper with hot chocolate and electric hot water bottle. mum joke am cat because lay in sun to warm up

doctors not believe am cold. think it impossible and mind just wrong. but mind not wrong. am cold

- disabilities because limb length discrepancies ( beyond a few centimetres )

- have wheelchair for issues with right leg

- strain whole of right side of body just keeping it in position because wheelchair not designed for bodies like mine

- can not push at all if ground tilted to right because right arm not powerful enough as literally short

- become more disabled

- repeat

Pride

I know this is super late into the month. But I heard someone I know and care about deeply say, "It's Pride Month but they're taking away our rights. What do we even have to be proud of?" and I just wanted to say I understand why a lot of people feel hopeless. But that doesn't mean we can't still have pride.

We still exist. Queer existence is something to be proud of.

I don't know. Maybe I'm rambling but I think Queer existence is always something beautiful. Somewhere out there, there is a gay person entering their first relationship; a lesbian soft-launching their identity to their parents by gradually making more comments and eventually wearing lesbian flag shoelaces on their shoes; a bi person getting D&D dice in the colours of their flag; an a-spec person figuring out more about themselves and how they do or don't connect with other people; a trans woman trying a skirt for the first time; a trans man trying a binder for the first time; a non binary person finding a new name; a neopronouns user finding a set of pronouns that appeal to them and an intersex person is getting their questions about their body answered without their body being pathologised.

And I think that's something to be proud of. So while we should absolutely mourn the people that are no longer here and advocate for a better future, I think it's important to be proud of those who aren't here anymore, those that are and those that aren't here yet but will be.

current knowledge mostly things have stitched together from online, books and YouTube. would be so happy to learn in person finally

disclaimer : I happen to find signing much easier but that due to auditory things ( am not sure if it auditory processing or mild hearing loss. it one of many things am waiting on doctor about ). sign language not useful for everyone who have trouble speech because some people may have motor difficulty or language difficulties that affect sign language as well as spoken language. it also it own set of languages that part of Deaf culture and that need be respected
