Having seen 'padded agere' come up enough recently that I went and looked it up (diapers for age regressors, so actually fairly straightforward):
This community sure will bend over backward to insist that voluntary age regression has nothing to do with kink and never could and never will, huh? "Oh, my choosing to intentionally enter a headspace where I imagine myself as a child in need of gentle care, often with another adult caregiver, often with props such as clothes, toys, pacifiers, and diapers, has /nothing whatsoever/ to do with those nasty gross disgusting kinksters".
"I'm not in an adult headspaceβ" Oh you mean like littlespace/subspace?
"It's not sexualβ" Not all kinks are sexual.
"I regress to cope/feel safe/achieve catharsisβ" Beacuse no one in kink spaces ever does that.
"Kinksters are invading our spacesβ" Outside of clinical therapeutic settings, I'm pretty sure the kinksters were here first.
Also I can't get over the audacity of tagging something like padded agere as "nsfw". Like. Buddy. Just because you're not experiencing arousal doesn't mean it's WORK. PLACE. APPROPRIATE. Which is what "not safe for work" means. In most workspaces, it would be wildly inappropriate to talk about your diaper and paci habits whether you're getting off on it or not. You're not better than the people who admit to CGL and/or ABDL kinks just because your thing isn't sexual. If you're regressing /on purpose/ whether it's to cope with trauma or whatever or not, I think it's a little ridonkulous to act like you have nothing in common with kinksters.
