Shinobu thinks she saw Giyu smile only once when they had dinner together (Tomioka's gaiden), but he actually smiled many times at Shinobu when she wasn't looking.
Giyu's love language is physical touch and quality time. Shinobu's love language is physical touch, words of affirmation, and acts of service.
They have known each other for years, so Giyu saw Shinobu's change in her personality after Kanae's death. Giyu, out of many people, understood perfectly what it meant losing an older sister, so he never judged her for it. On the contrary, he made sure to always be there for her (despite his bad communications skills). Shinobu sees and appreciates his efforts.
Shinobu knows Giyu is competitive and uses that to encourage him into doing things he wouldn't do normally.
They started dating without realizing they started dating. Things went so naturally between them that they sought each other's company very often and stuck together.
Both think of the other before making decisions. For example, "How would Kocho greet this person?" "What would Tomioka say if he saw me like this?"
Giyu feels Shinobu poking on his arm even when she's not around.
They have very deep conversations, and probably they're the only people they have really opened to (besides Tanjiro).
Shinobu cooks, Giyu cleans. Sometimes, they do both together.
Giyu thinks that Shinobu's fish tank is relaxing. He loves looking at it.
They often make bets on small things. Shinobu is the one that brings them up, and Giyu accepts after a sigh (he enjoys the competitive feeling it brings, though)
Giyu stays at the Butterfly Mansion more often than Shinobu stays at his estate because of Shinobu's hard work. She can take a couple of days off and leave Kanao and Aoi in charge when she knows things won't be too busy.
They are very, very, very touchy of each other. Clingy as hell. Shinobu was the first on making the moves, but once Giyu got comfortable, with her touch, even her was surprised how Giyu couldn't keep his hands to himself anymore.
They argue a lot, but they never stop loving each other.
When they feel lazy, they help do their hair, bathe, and dress up the other.
Oyakata-sama is definitely aware of their feelings before they even could realize. (HE SHIPS THEM HARD AND SENDS THEM ON MISSIONS TOGETHER ON PURPOSE)
Gyomei also ships them hard. His eye condition doesn't stop him from sensing how Giyu is softer when Shinobu is around and how flustered and genuinely happy Shinobu is when she speaks with Giyu.
Both can see themselves on each other because they both have an inferiority complex. Giyu doesn't feel worthy to be a Hashira, and Shinobu wishes she was taller and physically stronger .
Giyu was the first to notice the effects the poison had on Shinobu. Even if he knew her reasons, he would focus on taking care of her and let her rely on him instead of getting angry or upset at her.
