I'm not so sure why it's funny even without knowing that. Maybe it is because I am older than 14, though I am willing to bet it has something to do with not being amused by unoriginal, repetitive jokes - though that might also come from not being 14 as I probably was then.
Also those side effects all sound more appealing to me right now than the staring into nothing and being unable to focus that having it untreated is currently doing to me. Sudden death is not supposed to be appealing, something is wrong here. o-o

I hope you work up the courage to say the words you really want to say some day then. On some level, everyone needs to hear those words, even if they don't always mean them in the same way. <3

I talked to my mother today about Rick Perry's awful ad. She said she didn't get out of it what I did, she got that it's unfair to call a tree a holiday tree. She said, and oh my glob I wish I was kidding, that it can't be because they want to be inclusive because they don't stick menorahs on them.

Mother, I love you, but you are part of what is wrong. Not to mention she got that while ignoring the fact that Mr. Perry said there is a problem with gays openly serving in our military. Her response when I brought that up?
"If I was gay and in the military I wouldn't say anything anyway. There are too many weirdos."
"You couldn't talk about your girlfriend or wife without getting kicked out."
"Well people shouldn't be bullying them either but that happens."

Fun fact: I used to play in my actual closet when I was younger. Sometimes I slept there too. Mother never liked that.
But hey, as long as I only let myself be in relationships with cis men for the rest of her life, everything will be okay. I like them too after all so it's not really lying... is it? ._.

Today's an exception thanks to my wonderful fever but my fingers have been too cold to draw or type properly. Both of those things being bad as a writer and an artist. ._. It's hard to work with gloves on. 8C

David Barton (Wallbuilders) has become a regular guest on Kenneth Copeland’s “Believer’s Voice Of Victory” program, having made yet another week-long appearance last month for a series of shows entitled “Renew Your Mind With the Word of God.”
1 There are many species that eat their young. Waiting until just after your child is born seems worse than stopping it from being born.
2 Certain species of whiptail lizards have all-female or nearly all-female populations. These lizards reproduce by parthenogenesis, and research has shown that simulated mating behavior increases fertility. For instance, one female lies on top of another, engaging in pseudocopulation. When they lay eggs, the lizard that was on bottom has larger eggs while the one on top has smaller. The lizards switch off this role each mating season. The offspring are genetic clones of the mother, sparking debate as to how these lizards evolve or adapt to the environment.
This man should not be allowed to hold any office ever.
- Kids are not allowed to have group prayer during the school day. School days are about six hours long and nothing stops them from praying individually in their heads.
- Including non-Christians by saying Happy Holidays is not stopping anyone from openly celebrating Christmas, it is recognizing that we are not all Christians and not everyone celebrates Christmas.
- He just insulted a large group of current troops and veterans by implying they are somehow not worth as much because they are gay. They are just as important, valid, and human as anyone else in the military.
This man puts forcing his religion down the throats of others above the rights of human beings. He is implying that we some how wrong if we do not follow the same religion he does or if we happen to - le gasp - be attracted to someone not of the opposite sex. This man is a bigot and he's not even trying to hide it or be remotely subtle.
Please, Mr. Perry, drop out of the race and retire from government. Go to a theocracy and leave the United States - a country where religious freedom is paramount and we recognize GSM people as human beings - to the people who don't want to push us back into the dark ages.
You don't have to, dear, you can stop if you don't want to do it. Your gender identity and sexual orientation are the business of you and anyone you chose to be involved with romantically and/or sexually - no one else.

I think it's stupid when people do it in real life too if that makes anyone feel better. There is no happily ever after. It's good and nice in a story, but love takes time and nurturing and living your own life is most important in the end, not living for someone else.

Adults make me grumpy, not kids. I think these people are confused because of how others react when they have religion forced down their throat - I'm pretty sure that makes most people grumpy.
Or maybe my opinion is void due to being agnostic and not atheist. ._.
