“Are you planning to follow a career in Magical Law, Miss Granger?” asked Scrimgeour. “No, I’m not,” retorted Hermione. “I’m hoping to do some good in the world!”

Update
So it's been a long 6 months of waiting and worrying about the cyst on my remaining ovary. Long story short, in 2011 (when I was 21) I had emergency surgery due to a large 15cm cyst that had unfortunately, and very painfully, twisted. This meant that I lost my right ovary. And I was left pretty traumatised by the whole experience, resulting in two runs of therapy to move on. But that's a different story. Fast forward to Jan 2017. I have had the diagnosis of pcos since 2012 and I have had scans on a yearly basis to check the remaining ovary. My stomach was swollen, had a scan, found a 3.5cm cyst. This was very scary for me... I spent the last 6 years worrying this would happen and then it did. Fast forward again... unfortunately as I am a bit of a medical anomaly (pcos but not overweight, history of cysts that did not 'go away on their own', loss of ovary) it took docs a long time to make decisions. In April another scan showed the cyst had grown to 6cm. I had surgery on 8th of June. Miraculously, it went really well. They were able to operate using small cuts instead of a caesarean style cut AND they preserved my ovary. Which I still can't quite get over, after 6 months of worry that it was all hopeless. MY OVARY IS SAFE!!!! I should add, after a long time wttc, January was the time we had planned to start. But then the cyst was found and I was worried we were going to lose our only chance forever. So here I am, almost fully recovered. We are going to start OFFICIALLY ttc very soon, like in the next month. I can't believe it. This whole experience has scared us into knowing how important it is to us though, and now we're ready. I have a question... I came off the pill in Jan 2016 to see if I had any cycles and let my body get into a natural rhythm before trying. I have a period every month, even now, 2 weeks after surgery. I'm pretty sure I do ovulate... about 4 or 5 days after period I get pretty horny (tmi?) and have clear cm (definitely tmi) and I've always assumed that's when I ovulate. But I recently saw I thing saying that women with pcos can have anovulatory periods. How common is this? I had such hope that because my cycles were normal then maybe we wouldn't have as much trouble as I was expecting but now I'm not so sure I should let this get my hopes up? Anyway, here I am. One ovary ready to go and arms ready for a baby.
We've been wttc pretty much since 2013 but more so since 2015... we were meant to start officially trying in January but instead I found out that I have another large cyst on my remaining ovary. If I lose this one it's all over. The tests and waiting for answers is taking so long... it's already nearly April. Meanwhile the cyst could be getting bigger... The frustration of waiting until he's ready, as if we'll try once and get pregnant instantly. It could take years or never happen at all. If I lose this ovary now, after almost two years of him saying he finally wants a baby but then delaying it or not talking about it... I don't think I'll be able to not resent him. I came off the pill a year ago because he said he wanted a baby soon but then kept using condoms. Being off the pill for no reason at all and it probably lead to the cyst. I've been warning him that this could happen for years. I don't think I can cope with this after what happened last time. And this time the stakes are so much higher...
