How does magic work & how can I get hella spells? you ask
There are three basic realms of existence
The material place where our bodies exist
The immaterial place where magical energies, spirits, and gods exist
The highest plane of reality, where all things originate; the seed of creation, the womb of original thought
Humans are a combination of all three realms. We are divine beings, possessing the spark of original thought and the ability to create. We have spirits (energy bodies) that exist in the ethereal realm. And we are housed in physical bodies.
When you want magic to work, it is good to engage all three realms.
Engage the divine spark within through fervent belief, intense willpower, and the knowledge that what you say will come to be. This literally creates a new seed of manifestation through the power of your divine will.
Rousing energies, spirits, and gods in the ethereal plane to aid you. This does two main things. Firstly, it draws your creation closer to the physical realm. Secondly, it gives your creation power and force.
Lastly, the empowered seed of manifestation is drawn in to the material realm by the use of tools such as amulets, talismans, charms, and so on.
Here are some magical examples:
An iron-clad belief that you will get a job [divine]
Calling upon the powers of Jupiter or the spirit of Basil to aid you [ethereal]
Tying these powers in to a paper charm, so they are brought in to the physical world to make physical changes in your life [physical]
The unshakable will that you will reduce your anxiety [divine]
Petitioning a god to grant you relief from anxiety [ethereal]
Placing an amulet on your altar for the god to bless, through which the god’s blessing can manifest in your life [physical]
Our divine abilities limit our magical abilities. To grow in personal power, the divine spark must be developed through meditation, introspection, and personal evolution.
Our ethereal manipulation is limited by our mental and emotional capacities. In order to effectively raise and direct energies, we must mentally train ourselves, become in tune with our ethereal bodies, and educate ourselves on the forces and denizens in that world.
Our ability to effectively manifest magical will is dependent on our understanding of the forces in the physical world, being able to understand the flow of the physical around us, and recognizing the natural links between the physical and the ethereal.
