rating all of Tim Roth's outfits in Reservoir Dogs
he has so many silly outfits in this movie and he is so beautiful I'd love to categorise them
Basic suit - 7/10. Neat, nothing fancy, you could probably get this at a costume shop. It's giving csm devil hunting people uniforms. Not too big of a fan of the slicked back hair but it's his gaze that really makes this scene.
Suit covered in blood - 9/10. Somehow sexier. Sorry you're bleeding out bud but I love how messy his hair gets.
Red plaid/jeans combo - 9/10. Love the red on him, it compliments his tones etc. This shirt is very cute too, would wear 10/10.
Blue plaid/jeans - 8.5/10. I like the shirt! But the boots are so offputting they look really big and clunky and hot especially for the weather (considering Holdaway isn't even wearing a shirt in this scene).
White t-shirt - 7/10. Basic and clean.
Wifebeater - 8/10. I love how he's wrapped the red shirt around his waist, it adds to the environmetal storytelling and also is just a good look here.
Leather jacket on black shirt - 10/10. Love. Black is so sexy on this man he's just got a "smooth criminal" vibe going on in this scene. ESPECIALLY love the curtain bangs here extra points for those (I literally got curtain bangs bc of how he looks here and I will get them again they are gorgeous)
Leather jacket on wifebeater - 8/10. I daresay it looks better before he puts on the jacket? Like just the wifebeater and the slacks but I'm too lazy to take another screenshot so I'm grouping them together.
Black Hawaiian shirt - 9/10. The more I think about it the more sexy he looks in this scene idk. I lovee the emo hawaiian flare like yes king you wear matching hawaiian shirts on your taco date! have fun! I also like how the wedding band is visible in every single undercover scene.
Basic suit with sunglasses - 8/10. I like the basic suit better with sunglasses.
Bonus: Racer shirt from behind the scenes! 10/10. Ngl I thought it was a Jaws shirt up until now but nope it's a vintage almost anime-style shirt. I love the little pop culture posters and details around his apartment it just makes his character so real and speaks volumes despite the lack of backstory. But the backstory is all there, you just gotta zoom in every time you watch.
another bonus: this dark blue/white shirt combo from the deleted scenes (the other outfit in the other deleted scene is the red shirt outfit again). 7/10, since it's so fuzzy but I feel like the dark blue really suits him. we really only see him in reds and blues in this movie, I wonder how a green or yellow or orange (heh) might suit him?
anyways. amazing number of outfit changes for a 90 minute movie. love love love. i am looking very respectfully at him i promise sorry tim if you see this
