i guess I'm so worried about season 3 of bridgerton because I've held this series so close to my heart for years now that watching it become a reality but a twisted one hurts. now i know I've made some posts about it and i stick to them but the simple truth of it all is i LOVE this series. i have been reading it since I was fourteen. i own 30+ books of the bridgerton series !!! i spent years tracking down first editions and current editions. i am trying to order some of the special collections since the show came out. when I talk about loving this series, these characters I mean it !!! and watching shonda and chris take these characters and twist them out of their stories is so heartbreaking but I keep watching because I love them. colin and penelope are my favorite book, i own the most of romancing mister bridgerton in my collection! so watching them change that story in real time hurts and watching them change the essence of those characters man it sucks. the things they have pen do in the show are not things she would do and if you read the books you'll know. and watching colin be the opposite of who he is in the books? DAMN. he's funny and charming and sweet. that scene where he's talking about pen, he would never do that in front of the ton. it's not who he is. yes there's a scene like that in the books but it's not like that and it's between THE BROTHERS on their doorstep where no one hears! bc he wouldn't embarrass pen or anyone like that. and in the book he spends years away it's why when he finally comes back he's so taken back by pen and why he starts to notice things changing between them. watching him realize he loves the quiet girl and watching pen realize colin isn't perfect but he's still her prince ? man it makes me so dumb feeling.

so if you disagree that's fine and i hope you enjoy the show all the same. but if it stays the same and they keep messing up these characters please understand that i hold them dear to me and i hate watching them be changed but im still watching even if im complaining and ill rant about it and you don't have to agree with me but don't make me feel like im wrong for being upset it. enjoy it your way and ill do whatever the hell im doing with the tv show. and if you're like me and you understand what I'm saying, i hope for our sakes it morphs into something better. something like the original.

onward without Felicity I think we're going to miss some great scenes and i hate it because half the fun in polin is the idiocy of it all. their stupid jokes and the anger colin feels when portia assumes he wants to marry Felicity? unmatched. "It's practically incestous" i needed the polin slow burn that we experienced in the books and idk I guess I'll never stop ranting so stick around or don't but one thing I never know how to do is shut up.

Netflix is gonna fuck up polin so bad it's ridiculous !!! like they messed up Anthony and Kate I don't want to see the dumpster that is going to to Romancing Mister Bridgerton but I am going to watch bc it's polin 💀🫥
