You said memories become stories when we forget them. Maybe some of them become songs.

Oswin Oswald is a rebellious bird the Daleks cannot tame. A vivacious young woman in crimson dress with a red rose behind her ear. She’s holding a hammer in her hand to keep themonsters out as she’s humming one of the most beautiful arie in history. Also, she occasionally bakes soufflés. But none of it is real. There is no red rose, there are no burned soufflés. She dreamed herself a new life to face the terrible truth. Her consciousness created a dramatic scenario fitting her destiny. Oswin became a tragic heroine of her own opera which might have had other setting and plot but the outcome was tragic all the same. In the end, Oswin Oswald, just like Carmen or one of her luckless soufflés, was too beautiful to live.

omg was Alex crying when Miles hugged him?

Well, I wasn’t sure at first but then when the song was about to end, when they were singing the very last lines of it, this happened:

Miles’ eyes are certainly glassy, and his pained expression kills me… but since Alex’s are closed you can only see a wet stripe coming down from his eye that looks a lot like tear. I know his face is sweaty, but they did a lot of close ups on this song and his face is not that sweaty. You can see all of this better in the video, the gifs don’t do any justice of this very sad moment.

So yeah, I’m pretty sure what we witnessed here is a very emotional moment for both of them and not just for us…
