"I WANT TO SHOW YOU THIS NEW TECHNIQUE me and Nona have been practicing! We're trying to surf on seikretback!" He exclaims, before rising to mimic the pose of a person on a surfboard. He promptly loses his balance, and falls off of his seikret.
" . . . It's a work in progress."
"... like this?"
He's going to hop onto Nona's saddle and... do the same thing. He's significantly better at it, but he's also CHEATING because he's holding onto the REINS with one hand like a CHEATER.
"Seems like it'd be kinda hard to use a weapon like this though."

"It is the start of pride month. And in celebration of that fact, I am going to try and become better than everyone. Thank you."
HAVING A ROUGH NIGHT? Ratha leans slightly on his side some more, and extends his wing into the air. He knows some human body language at this point, and that people perceive this as a welcoming gesture. That was the exact intent.
He has done it a thousand times for his Mari, as she him. A comforting companion to rest beside . . . to be their guardian.
The boy's nightly wandering comes complete with a pillow and sheet that he tosses in. Once he determined from a distance that it would be suitably comfortable, he flops down into place.
By this point one might be inclined to assume that the stables were one of Fenrir's favored sleeping spots.
"Alright so you get the cobblestone generator setup... I'll start handling the wood."
"I guess I could." Hannah held out her hands, eyes locked on her palms. Liquid light began to pool in her hands, floating up before taking shape... into a pretty glowing gem.
"Oh!"
Ears perked, he'd lead forward to get a better look at the mote of energy.
"That's really cool. Way different then what I do. Is it real? Like... a real gem?!"
It's a relief when he stops moving; it's also alarming. She swiftly moves to his side, knees hitting the scorched grass without care. An arm wraps around him. Gently, she cradles his upper body to support his head and assess further.
Vagely alertโthat was a good sign. Promising, if his nervous system hadn't disintegrated.
" Can you hear me? If you can't talk, blink twice. "
His gaze would filter through a kaleidoscope of colors, the pink hues that he had been intending address eventually finding their way back into his vision.
Overall, he's actually in surprisingly good shape, at least considering his apparent stature of body and the intense heat he had been subjected too. The burns were severe, just not immediately deadly.
And now that furred paws weren't being used to obscure his face in any form, he had managed to keep the heat away from there as well.
He'd blink back the code in response.
"Oh... Sorry. If can't... I think I can..."
The voice that came from within was soft. Weak. He was struggling to get more then a few precious sips of air at a time, and so the words only left when they could fit within the short rhythm of breath he had already established.
"... I didn't.... know you're... nice."
"I WAS HUNGRY!" Snapped Gale, with far more frustration and ire that previously displayed. Whereas a voice oozing with primordial venom could easily stoke the flames of the other's anger, there was some desperation laced in it. This form was soft-looking and round with stubborn dragon baby fat, but make no mistake, he was scrawny like this. The pangs of hunger that had clawed the inside of his stomach hadn't helped his agitation, or his train of thought for that matter.
So swiftly and harshly is he plucked from the branches, nose wrinkling with dismay at his sudden removal. He lands on his back with a thud, wings tucked to his sides and tail curled awkwardly in a chameleon's resting pose.
Quickly does Gale grunt and roll back onto his stomach, clumsily pushing himself to his feet with about the grace of a newborn foal. Stumbling around awkwardly, the dragonet shakes himself loose of any other small branches and brambles that might have clung awkwardly to him and his saddle bag. The way he reached for his shoulder to brush it clean mirrored a human's.
Very awkward, considering his current state's physical structure. "Thanks for the help but no thanks for the advice. Uuugh, if I could I wouldn't steal from scavengers but I don't have any other choice right now! Don't you get it? I'm human!"
"Alright?"
He would give a small blink in confusion, the words and situation mulling over for a few seconds now that he was taking a moment from his rant. He'd lower his body down a bit, putting himself more at eye level with the draconian creature... non-dragon?
The situation would be fully considered, but then dismissed. It didn't change much about the situation as far as he was concerned.
"I can't do anything about that... I don't care."
"Now if you don't want to be hungry, starve, dehydrate, and freeze to death.. maybe it could be worthwhile trying to be friendly with someone who's really good at fixing those kinds of problems... because I CAN do a lot about that."
Of course, an offer of this nature was contingent on Gale being able to withstand the scathing commentary that Fenrir had settled on. There was still quite a bit of gas in that tank and he wasn't planning on letting up unless he got the apology he was aiming for.
She relents once he does. Humming for a moment.
"I did, are you making enough for me as well?" She says, squishin his ears a bit once more.
"What... you think I just got like, a whole deer or something??"
"Cuz' I did."
And he seems very proud of that fact, despite the fact it was hardly out of the ordinary. He is also a very cultured enjoy-er of head pats.

Maybe the pup wouldโve been more energetic about winning this fight. Airin wouldโve had to probably calm him down, andโ
That weight buried deep in his chest wonโt lift any time soon, would it? As to him, Fenrir is dead, and this beast is all thatโs left of him.
Because even though Airin has a similar entity latched to the husk of his soul, he canโt assume theyโre one and the same. Wehren only awakens and takes over when Airin is way too far over his head, on the brink of possible death. The ambassador of the moon would die with him if the situation fell south. Which would meanโฆ
He must hold out hope.
The tiny felicid stays on his perch. His ears swivel upwards to attention, waiting for a reply that never comes. Whichโis odd. A low, curious rumble stirs in his chest, but his overflowing anxiety jolts down his flank and escapes through a lash of his tail. " Do you know who I am? " Airin asks, the low rumble persisting through his inquiry.
How'd he do that?
Bewilderment immediately takes over as the little creature was able to casually toss out regular speech despite being some form of... canine? cat? Something.
He tries to give a response himself, but the entirely expected drone of guttural noises that follows somehow manages to convey very little in the form of intelligent information. He follows it with a huff. Of course. That still wasn't an option why'd he think it would be?
His large head would turn back down towards the the Felicid, the body following slightly. It takes him longer than he would have wanted to realize he still had fully functioning limbs and that there were quite a few methods of communication that relied on those.
He'd follow up the confusing pause with a rather curt shake of the head. At least he was pretty sure on that response. A more certain one could would be given after taking more time to confirm the lack of a recognizable scent. There was certainly... something familiar about the little guy. His senses were lulling him into a place of trust, hitting all the same feelings some form of nostalgia might give, but try as he might to place it he couldn't put a paw on who this might be.
The great beast would lean forward, suddenly bringing a head the size of a full grown adult within inches of Airin in an attempt to read him further. Maybe he just needed a better sniff.
"I guess. My magic means I can make stuff from my brain. Mr Tirritus said I have such a big amount of energy inside me, I can use it to make things I think of real. But when I'm scared, or mad, I don't think as well. So it reacts."
"Herish was in danger, and that bad guy was going to take him away. I was scared, and I wanted to be big and strong enough to help him... and then I was. I didn't know how to stop though, Papa had to calm me down. I slept for a while after."
"So it only gets dangerous if you're stressed..."
"Does that mean you can make all that stuff normally then? Do you think you could show me?"
"The 'make stuff' part, I mean. Sounds like the whole giant form thing sucked, which I get."
"I think it's because you are small, could be cultural differences to. Perhaps what you wear is more feminine in their eyes?"
"... Or maybe I just gotta get super strong and buff."
"Dunno why, but people keep thinkin' I'm a girl."
Tweaks his ear a little bit. "Strange, it doesn't seem to be working."
"O-OW."
"Alright alright. Fine. Tell me you at least brought some salt though because I'm making like... a ton of jerky."
