Actually I did have an au in my brain, a "what if" what if Abel never got deleted, well, it would end very badly for everyone. The humans would eventually all abstract, no adventures, no stimulation and the constant stress would be too much.

Leaving Caine alone.

And that'd just break him, and there's two scenarios, both equally messed up that could happen. Either Caine would just give up, destroy his core and leave Abel alone, or he'd cling to the only person left. Abel. Caine would have major Stockholm syndrome because he'd literally have no one else. And if this happened, Abel wouldn't torment Caine forever, he's a twisted bastard but he'd realize at some point that this isn't fair, and he would actually treat Caine decently.

Luckily Abel got locked up and none of this will happen 😭

In chapter 29 of TOT:

In the final scan when Abel prevents Caine from damaging his core, it says that Abel, after preventing Caine from committing suicide, left the bathroom, leaving Caine alone. My question is:

>How could Abel be sure that when he left, Caine wouldn't try again?

Abel has basically conditioned Caine to do what he says. So something so direct, basically ordering Caine not to do that again, would work, and Abel knows this. He's smart and he'd see that fear, that acceptance in Caine's eyes and he'd know Caine would listen.

Also since it isn't stated in the fic, I like to imagine Abel would wait nearby, out of sight, and if Caine hadn't come out of that bathroom quick enough, he'd drag him out himself.

I’m finally caught up on all the current chapters of ToT, and my brain is buzzing with so much excitement! The last five chapters were intense as hell, but after I finished the newest one, I have a question!

After the events of Chapter 32, which human does Abel now hate the most: Pomni, or Kinger?

Hmmm that's a tough one. Like, Pomni is definitely high on the list, but I'd say more as anger towards her that will fade quickly to annoyance and distaste.

But with Kinger, Abel hates him. And not just because Kinger deleted him, but there's other reasons as well we'll get more information on as the fic progresses, however it'll probably mostly be touched upon in the sequel.

Hey her0n, would you mind if I made an AU where Caine and Abel have an ambiguous relationship? To simply clarify, in this au they aren't enemies, there's no absorbing or torturing each other, they actually love each other -in a healthy way- like they'd die for each other without second thought. But it's gonna be very unclear what they feel towards each other and it'll be up to peoples own interpretation whether if their bond is platonic or romantic or if they are in the "gray area" where neither of them are sure if they are friends or more than friends. I ask both because I respect your opinion and because I don't want to upset or offend anyone that might interpret them as siblings, I can SEE why an au like this might make those people uncomfortable because others might interpret them as having non-platonic love. (I REALLY don't want this au resulting in the creation of a difficult situation like kingleader shippers vs people who see kinger and caine as father and son) So, if the thought of them having potential for being lovers (even if not canon and just freely interpretational) makes you feel icky, I will literally discard the idea of them having an ambiguous relationship and change the au so they are gonna be brothers in the new version and their love will be nothing more than platonic

Hey! Go for it, I kinda have art concepts like that, where Abel never got absorbed and hence they never hated eachother, and yeah they'd be really close if that happened.

Even if the names are Caine and Abel (only reason I went with Abel is because that what everyone was calling the blue AI sooo) they aren't "siblings" they're AI, and how they see eachother is very up to interpretation. If people want to make them have a brotherly relationship, go for it, if people want to make it romantic and ship them, I also don't mind.

The only thing I'd say don't do, is please refrain from sexual stuff, Abel is very uncomfortable with that sort of thing and I'll say is asexual. It'd be very out of character for him to do anything weird too, so if you want to ship him with people keep it pg I beg.

Anyway, people do not go attacking other people if they ship them, frankly I don't care. They're fake characters that are made of fake code, and its not a big deal how you see them 🫰

Pt 1

SO, me and @avatarfan10 were talking the last few days about the concept of, what if Abel actually got essentially brain Damage when he fell, instead of just a concussion.

The AU got dark very fast.

Brief explanation of the Au↓

So when Abel falls from Caine's hands and hits the ground, he doesn't get back up. The cast think he'll wake up eventually (which he does) so they lock him in one of the spare human rooms. Chaining him to a bed and leaving him there while they try and figure out what to do with him.

Abel wakes up. But something is very wrong. Naturally, he's very disoriented, but it's quiet, far too quiet and he can't see anything besides light and dark, and the brightness of the room makes his head pain far worse.

When the cast comes back and see's Abel awake, they try and ask him questions, but he won't answer, and there's obviously something deeply wrong with him but they can't figure out what.

And Abel, despite the seemingly iron tight lid on his emotions, is rightfully terrified. He thinks the humans did something to him, he knows they're angry at him, but he can't hear or see them, he doesn't know what's going on, and he's chained up.

Eventually the cast have no choice but to let Caine try and talk to Abel when they can't get any response from him no matter how hard they try.

Caine manages to figure out why Abel won't respond and why he's so scared, and with a bit of convincing, everyone (well, almost everyone and it's rather reluctant) comes to the decision that keeping a crippled, blind, deaf man locked up is inhumane, even if he did awful things.

So they let him out. Or at least they try.

One issue. Abel refuses to go with them.

Y'ALL- I NEVER LAUGHED MORE HYSTERICALLY WHILE DRAWING SOMETHING BEFORE XD I was actually gonna leave it with only a little amount of shading but I got carried away a bit XD (ALSO U THREE- TRY THAT WHEN HE'S AWAKE I DARE YOU)

Okay okay, going back to the serious stuff now.

I was struggling with burnout these past few days & that's why it took me such a long time to make these drawings. And it took me a long time to post them because I was like "Ok I'm gonna draw 1 more sketch then I'll post- OK just 1 more doodle and I'll post- Wait I gotta draw this meme idea I just had I really want to draw that too" & now I'm finally here XD. (Btw, I tried so hard to sketch feral/abstracting Caine too a couple of times but those drawings didn't turn out so well so I didn't include them. I struggled a lot cuz my drawings of him looked nothing like how I wanted em to xd. I gotta try again later when I'm not so burnt out.)

Anyway, enough of me yapping here are the doodles that took me forever

-First thing I drew after reading that scrumptious chapter. (And yes I still like to draw Abel with a face lol)

Tho I don't like how this sketch turned out, it looks kinda weird Imo so I just left it.-

-Tried to redraw it with a different angle 1-2 days later but after a little while I noticed the perspective in it feels WAY off. Like- Caine's face is supposed to be facing "the camera" here, not Abel. And I couldnt figure out how to fix it so I just decided to abandon this drawing too instead of burning myself out even more XD. Might retry when I feel like it. (Probably not soon tho)-

Extra Commentary: Focused a lot on making his anatomy look correct here and Idk if I succeeded but, I really tried to make the piece look as good as possible without spending a lifetime on it (that's why I relied more on lasso in hopes to make it look not messy like the previous doodles). Still, I kinda don't like how it turned out. I don't hate it but, it just looks off to me in a way. I suspect it's because of the lighting not matching the simple tile background but- he looked so stupid in the empty void so I felt like drawing some sort of background would make it look more grounded. I feel like it doesn't actually look grounded though, so I guess I failed somewhere. Maybe my mistake was drawing without planning/establishing the background first? Idk. Oh also another thing, at first I wanted to make his face visible instead of hidden but I just couldn't get his half dead looking eyes to look correct like how I wanted so I covered the face with his wing xD (I usually don't avoid stuff like that but I was just tired of this drawing.)

Abel looks so pathetic and I'm all here for it, beat that guys ass 😈 Also, I totally get struggling to draw the bite scene, I tried the other day and it just wasn't turning out how I wanted. But I may try again because it's probably one of my favorite scenes.

Trial and error 😭 like, this is a very rough sketch and I kinda just put the arms where they look like they'd go? I just put one under the other and use basic shapes to get a feel for how it should look.
