We gathered some great feedback from the staff at Derby Museums on what they wanted to see on the website at our Project Lab. Last Friday we met with Jonathan and Emma to sort and group the content ideas into sections for the new website. Next step: sitemap and content plan!
Data visualisation from talking to people at the Derby Mini Maker Faire last Saturday.
Where there are more lines on the points in the outer circle, there were more requests for the content/features. Basic information such as opening times and how to get to the museums were popular, along with finding out about events, exhibitions, talks and family-friendly activities. The people that we spoke to at the Mini Maker Faire were mostly families so there was a bias in this area.

Cracks in the concrete
The vines creep over the ruins of the city, climbing the walls, pushing aside the solid foundations we thought we’d built. Grey crumbles, green takes over. Our structures have failed. The earth was more resilient than we believed it to be. More powerful than us, bigger, stronger. We pushed it to the brink but it survived.
It didn’t need us like we need it. It didn’t need our cars, our technology, our systems. It brought down everything we built and we thought it cruel. Chastised, some worked towards reclaiming their loss, whilst others revelled in the beauty of what remained.
