Chasers vs. Admirers

First thing we need to do is identify terms.  When it comes to the community of people who love femboys, CD’s, transwomen, there seems to be two types: chasers and admirers. Now, what’s the difference?  

In my opinion a chaser doesn’t want any emotional attachment.  For them, it’s about sex, plain and simple.  Yes, they are attracted to feminine guys, but they’re not interested in any individual femboy.   Rather than who a person is, it’s the fact that they are a femboy that is the focus of their attention.  What you are is much more important than who you are, even though the two are usually impossible to separate.  A chaser’s desires are also usually hidden, a “dirty little secret”. They get off on being with a femboy but would never consider dating or being in an LTR with such a person.  

An admirer, on the other hand, does want a relationship.  We’re not just looking for someone with whom to have sex (although that would be nice LOL), we want to find someone with whom we can enjoy a typical couple’s relationship.  Even though the fact that a person is femme may be what attracts us, it’s not the be all end all of things.  We’re interested in the person, not just how they dress or express themselves.  Not to sound maudlin, we’re looking for love with a very special person.

If it sounds like I have a negative opinion of chasers it’s because I do.  If their behavior didn’t affect admirers I really wouldn’t care, but it does, and I do.

There are a lot more chasers out in the world than admirers.  The two groups get lumped together and that hurts those of us who don’t fetishize and objectify feminine guys.  When we try to talk with someone it seems they immediately put us is in the chaser camp.  Every femboy, CD, and transwoman I have known has had negative experiences with chasers, and they have become wary of anyone expressing interest in them.  

That sucks.

This blog was started for femboys and their admirers.  Yes, I have shared and hope others will share pics, but I also want to give visitors a chance to talk and get to know each other.  But I don’t want to perpetuate the idea that we’re here just because we’re horny and secretly want a guy in panties.  That’s not the point.
