So you tell me Alastor achivied his goals by himself and Vox had to kill to do the same?
they are both serial killers but of a different kind
Unlike Vox, Alastor was organised, I mean he killed in a desolated area
Vox was killing in the middle of the city. What is more, in the building he was working at.
When describing serial killers, they often talk about organized and disorganized types.
Robert K. Ressler believes that part of the reason for the pent-up anger and frustration is that disorganized killers are not attractive to others and have very little self-esteem. They don't achieve success at work (he had to kill to actually achieve something). They cause a lot of problems due to their lack of ability to cooperate with other people. (I guess he could have worked just fine with Val and Vel but Alastor was a stronger force, oops)
He also believes that organized killers are mostly attractive, popular and "entertaining" people. They don't feel inferior to others. They often consider themselves more important and powerful.
But in the end they are both mixed up really. They are kinda different when they lived and when they died, mostly because they are not the same serial killers as they were when they lived.
Alastor is a serial killer who mainly wants power and control. He usually picks his victims on the spot, going after people who have embarrassed him or think they're better than him. Even though his choices are impulsive, he kills in a very organized and careful way. He makes sure everything is under control and gets rid of the bodies without feeling guilty. What really drives him is the feeling of being in charge, not just physical pleasure. Also, he acts like someone on a personal mission, believing that certain people deserve to be treated this way.
Vox is basically a goal-driven serial killer who uses murder as a way to climb the ladder and get rid of anyone in his way. He targets people blocking his path to success, moving up one step at a time. While he chooses his victims carefully and logically, the actual killings are often messy, dramatic, and over-the-top-like making them look like workplace accidents. He seems to enjoy seeing his victims suffer, showing he likes having control for pleasure. He doesn’t feel guilty about what he does and kills because he thinks he can’t get ahead on talent alone.
