“This is called a Springlock suit, it operates both as a character costume and an animatronic skin, able to switch with the help of a hand crank which I don’t have in my possession right now. There were only two suits ever made for this purpose, they served as prototypes for what was suppose to be a more widely used product.”
“The secret is the suit had something called Springlocks, which with the help of the hand crank, the springlocks would be pushed to the sides of the suit and allow a person to slip the costume pieces on, I think you understand the purpose was both to save money and create a new way to seamlessly switch from animatronic suit to human costume.”
“The issue with the two they made, Fredbear, which is this one, and SpringBonnie which was destroyed in a fire,” Lefty lifted the suit up to show everyone, “The springlocks were extremely sensitive, and they are essentially there to keep the animatronic endoskeleton in place while an animatronic wears the suit, acting as hooks to attach to the endo.”
“Let me use this bag as meat as an example,” Lefty lifted up the plastic bag of meat he had placed on the table.
“I will put it inside the head,” He deattached the animatronic head and placed the meat inside.
“As I was saying, the Springlocks are extremely sensitive and weaken over time, body sweat also has been proven to weaken them more, as well as extreme movements, like dancing.”
“Let me show you what happens,” Lefty ticked one of the suit spring locks back.
They heard a few loud clicks that got faster before-

Mick who was barely holding his lunch had lent down and puked on his own feet.

“That was one of the tamest reactions I’ve seen, Stanley has fainted.”
They had turned to see Stanley did indeed faint.
“Anyway, imagine this is your head, it crushes everything, digs into your flesh, cuts and bleeds, you would drown in your own blood if your lungs are punctured.
