I understand and respect the fact that not everything from a book, especially a book as lengthy as fire and blood, is going to make it to the show. cutting things is one thing. it happens. but when you cut (important scene crucial to the development of other characters and storylines) and replace it with (alicent being assaulted) or (alicent showing feet pics) or (alicent having a random affair), yes they’re all alicent bc he does seem to be obsessed with her!!!!!! and I don’t even hate alicent, I do hate some of these things that were added that make NO impact on the plot whatsoever but I don’t hate her. I mean give her something meaningful if you like her so much, thats fine, she’s an important character, she does deserve to have important scenes. but come on. clearly you don’t like her bc these are the things you chose to have her do. when you could have just as easily added scenes giving her actual plotlines and character development. and do not say thats what happened in this last episode, incorrect.

none of it makes any sense. there are storylines here that have yet to unfold and I am so confused as to how they are going to make these things happen at this point. when you dispose of all the triggers leading up to an event, how does the event then occur?
