“They need to open the doors!”
“I’m sure they’re going to.” She frowned, looking over.
“I hope not, that’s all this town would need right?”
“I know... can’t we just have one month where something bad doesn’t happen?”
hannaclarkman:
“Is this smoke? I think I see smoke.”
“It’s definitely smoke...”
““Yeah I don’t even know who is in there.” She admitted. She had sort of kept out of touch with people lately.
"Well, I hope no one got hurt or anything.."
“I’ve been asking around too but everyone just seems confused?”
"I'm just glad I'm not in there.. but that seems horrible to say when other people are."
“How scary!”
“I wonder how it even happened?”
"I don't know.. the cops have been here all day but no one can tell me anything."
"How scary!"
“Is the place.. on fire?”

The only picture that Sofie had of Maggie, was when she was younger. That was until she had stopped by their parent’s place and they told her what happened. Of course she took the most recent picture she could find this way she could track her down. Which was why she was in Baberton now. She needed to find a job sometime soon. Even if she wasn’t planning on staying long but then again she found her sister. So that alone is a reason to stay. Moving out of her motel room, she was planning to look for a job. Seeing Maggie, she smiled a little bit actually glad that Maggie had sought her out. “Hey.” She shrugged a little bit. “I’ve gotten lost a few times to be honest.”
Maggie wondered if she could be wrong and that would be so embarrassing but looking at this girl right now seemed to prove it. She just looked the spitting image of her sister in the photo, albeit older. “Oh, that happens...” She remembered being the same way. “You get used to it quickly though.” She felt awkward but then she did a lot of the time.

Secret relationships were hard enough, it wasn’t something that he liked doing. But yet, here Eric was doing it. As soon as he got that text from Maggie, stating that no one was at her place, he stopped by the flower shop and picked up some flowers and made his way over. Knocking on the door, once it opened he couldn’t help but smile and hold up the flowers. “Hey you. These are for you.” Maybe he was trying to go for boyfriend of the year right now. But he felt something for her, she was different from Nikki and Imogen.
Maggie was so happy with Eric that she wished she could just shout it out. Part of her was telling her the age gap was no big deal and the other was reminding her people would say things anyway, his family or whatever. She didn’t want anything from the outside to spoil it. When Eric appeared at the door, she was already waiting, and she hurried to open it up. “Hey.” She beamed brightly at him, taking the flowers as a slight flush crept onto her face. “They’re lovely.” She stepped back a little. “Wanna come in? No one will be back for a while.”
“The rehab is going fine. Thanks for asking.” Mason was still working his leg injury out. But he seemed to be getting better. He was just tired of people asking about it. He had only just returned from visiting his parents but he was glad to be back honestly.
“Is it really sore?” She wondered, though suddenly realised she should have kept her nosey questions to herself.
“Do you have a band-aid.”
“Yeah, hold on..” She rummaged in her bag. “Did you fall?”
Scared of me? You should be. -A
@sofie--carter // Maggie honestly didn’t have many memories of her sister. There was nine years between them and Maggie had been pretty young. But she knew that she missed her sister a lot and felt alone with their parents, especially with the way they were towards her. Maggie hadn’t recognised Sofie when she first met her in town but after looking through a few old photos the other night, one blurred picture of her sister had looked rather like the girl she’d given directions to. She wasn’t sure what to do and she could be wrong but she had to know. Maggie had gone to the motel and hovered outside until she’d seen the older girl emerge. Hesitantly, she’d made her way over to her. “Um.. hey.” She paused. What did she do - ask outright? “Are you.. finding your way around okay?”
“Alright, at least now I can see what I’m doing.”
“Did you lose them?”
“So why are you here?”
“Um. I.. I’m sorry. I don’t...” She made a face and quickly turned away. “I’m so sorry.”
