A big thank you to the @dailystar & @billieastrid for this article about my experience with #eczema . I have been so overwhelmed recently with the amount of messages and support that have been flooding in. It's so comforting to know that I'm not alone in my suffering. I will shout about this condition to anyone who will listen and continue to raise awareness as much as I can. I don't want any kids to grow up or anyone to feel alone when dealing with #eczema and its physical & mental effect on so many people's lives. I've been boosted! Big build up to my 3rd 💉which culminated in an anxiety attack & floods of tears in the consultation room 🤦🏻‍♀️ So thankful for the absolute legend in there who helped to calm me down, held my hands & did breathing exercises with me 🙌🏼 I felt ok on my way to there but when I got outside I was bombarded with 'why are YOU getting the booster' 'where's the proof of YOU being high risk' by the lady checking names, AFTER I had shown her my appointment text from the NHS. It completely threw me off. I sat in the waiting room trying to hold it back but anxiety literally gets you in a chokehold. Remember not all illnesses, diseases & disabilities are visible so be kind always. Doesn't help that I look like a teenager masked up in my full tracksuit 😅 Thankful for our wonderful NHS, yes it's flawed but we are lucky to have it and it has been very good to me recently 💙 (at St Thomas' Hospital) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWLWWbvoE7Z/?utm_medium=tumblr
