💜my name is kaitlynn, but i don't mind a cute nickname, including ones that play off my name

💜the backstory behind "Katy Rue": one of my dearest friends-who's quite the southern belle herself-decided that i've lived in the south for long enough to have my own "southern belle" name <3 i decided upon the spelling "rue" based off the rue flower (herb-of-grace). as it turns out the word "rue" signifies penance or remorse so i find it to have a beautiful melancholia
