all the messages from around the world and especially from the eu leaders are making me so emotional. it was never us this was never us the hungarian people didn't want any of this but we spent the past decades being suppressed and robbed and lied to and censored and isolated by a dictatorship that wanted nothing but to profit. but they didn't give up on us the entire world came together to make orbán's lies so impossible to cover up that even his complete ownership of all media and his propaganda machine and his murdering of journalists couldn't conceal it anymore.

and soon it's going to hit me that nothing guarantees our new government will be better and that no matter how nice it is to see eu leaders warmly welcoming hungary back they never meaningfully interfered with orbán's crimes but for now my country is hopeful for the first time in my entire life

not something I'd regularly post, but today the far-right regime was defeated in my country. not by a little, it's important to note. the opposition got the majority votes. they will fill 2/3 (our electoral system is weird like that) of our parliament building. today, all of the far-right countries all over the world felt the fall of this corrupt, rotted system that has taken and taken for 16 consecutive years from its people.

all this to say that there is hope! freedom, love and those who dare to step up and dare to say "enough is enough" will win. they will beat the lies, the odds and the scandals.

I went out with my friends to a retro pub and three beers and three shots deep I've felt so liberated, in a way I've never felt before. the day before, I told the same friends; "if the current regime stays in power, I am leaving". and I meant it. I was ready to pack up my suitcase the moment they handed me my bachelor's degree in a year. and I am so, so happy that I don't have to leave this place behind.

my boyfriend came to pick me up from the pub, and we walked home together. we've talked to a lot of people on the way. we yelled back at people who called us slurs for voting the opposition. the streets of the capital were (and probably still are) filled with people celebrating their liberation from this filthy regime that has unjustly ruled over its people for more that one and a half decade. they are singing, dancing, the cars that drive buy honk at everyone to make them sing even louder. they're waving our national flag and playing songs that mean a lot to us. it's honestly one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

I am so, so grateful to not have to leave this all behind.

Oh, by the way, this Fucked Up Little Guy™ asks the only character whom is confirmed to be a mother whether she's sure she doesn't want to adopt him, implying that he had asked before.

Oh, by the way, this Fucked Up Little Guy™ comes from a place where radiation is rampaging, leaving him basically brain damaged. Though this does not put a stop to his undeniable genius unmatched by those who had better opportunities growing up than he did.

Oh, by the way, this Fucked Up Little Guy™ has lived a life of obsession with explosions and a lifestyle of self-endangerement, so much so that he had disabled himself not once, but twice and is living with a prosthetic arm and a leg, which is, unlike his other limb, is just a "fix" rather than a replacement. We do not know how he'd lost his arm. He had lived a life without rules, where you have to steal or you will be stolen from.

Oh, by the way, this Fucked Up Little Guy™ is banished from aforementioned place, the one he called home once, because he had fought against authority, and has tried to prove his worth by wreaking havoc all over the world and steal whatever he can get his little fucked up hands on.

Oh, by the way, this Fucked Up Little Guy™ had considered leaving this "we get in there, blow shit up and steal whatever we can" lifestyle behind, but him and his partner (in crime) had been set up for failure from the start, and inside job a to capture them, since they are, as we know, one of the whole entire planet's most wanted criminals.

Oh, by the way, this Fucked Up Little Guy™ is probably fated to be an outcast forever. He could count it on one hand how many people have been kind to him from the whole roster, even though he has no evil intentions towards any of them.

Junkrat is so incredibly tragic if you think about him for more than ten seconds because. What do you mean. He's only late twenties, he's lost two limbs due to explosions of his own creation, he has spent god knows how long doing and stealing whatever he needed to just to survive, and that way of living became a full addiction. And that addiction is there because he grew up in an unsafe environment that has left him with radiation poisoning and impaired mental function and NONETHELESS is shown to be incredibly smart and a full on genius underneath the chaos, chaos in which he doesn't fully understand. And ON TOP OF THAT he's constantly searching for a family he presumably lost and keeps searching for it even when noone wants to give it to him. AND ALSO EVERYONE IS MEAN TO HIM

And Blizzard made him COMIC RELIEF AND NEVER EXPANDED ON HIS STORY EVER AGAIN.
