Weâre in This Together
Calming Emotions :| Humphrey and Moon Eye
Moon Eye looked back at the village, eyeing the people. There was a few cautious i glance back at her as she was at the edge of their territory. There was always some danger that happened when you left your territory of the island. Then again as long as there was Pan, they were never truly safe. She needed to get out, she couldnât remain terrified to go out of her peopleâs territory. She ventured out twice before, trying to regain her comfort, but she still felt uncomfortable. The first time she met a pirate, one that sent her head into a tizzy. The girl was so odd, she honestly worried about her. She was so quick to tears. It made Moon Eye wonder about the demon man, how could he have a companion like the small girl who seemed like she was a sweet child, the girl who seem more prone to tears than violence. Â The second time she was only in the company of Khairi.
Khairi there helped her ease some of the fear, making her feel somewhat safer. She knew him, she knew that he wouldnât hurt her, he was her friend, as he had been for years. They been alone before, though he was flustered and would ramble as he talked to her, making her laugh. He stayed close enough to her, but keeping a distance knowing that she wasnât that comfortable with men that were not her father. She tried not to flinch so much when he drew close to her. He fought to keep his thoughts not of how he thought she was the one for him as they were together when her eyes looked him over. Moon Eye never seemed to notice the love in his heart for her. Moon Eye kept a certain distance from him, though she know it wasnât fair to push her friend away like that. He would never hurt her, but she questioned her judgement. She trusted Giant after all, maybe she wasnât good at reading people as she thought.
She looked to the woods, this time walking alone into a the woods, traveling along though the Woods of the Dead. Itâs where she last saw Giant. Her heart began racing as she knew it had something to do with her, if only she had listened when Soyala and everyone else told her to leave him alone. She saw that there was something off about him and now he was nowhere to be found. He could be dead, or with Pan or the island could have decided to have their way with him. But wasnât that far? Wasnât that karma? That wasnât how she wanted her justice and some people questioned if she was telling the truth. Some wonder if she decided to end him. It was all so odd. Moon Eye pushed herself to get past the Woods of the Dead and into the Neverwoods. She was supposed to find sanctuary in those woods but all they did was bring bad memories to mind.
Moon Eye felt fear enter her body, though she looked so calm trekking through the Neverwoods. No longer did she have the safety of the magic of the woods to protect her.  If someone were to have cruel intentions, they would feel no repercussions. Moon Eye closed her eyes, focusing on the energies of the island. She gathered enough power to create an armor around her that protect herself from anything that was to come at her that would try to kill herâŚwell all except Pan. Moon Eye knew it was smart to have a certain level of fear being on her island, there were those who didnât want to harm anyone then there was those who would kill so easily. She had to remind herself that she was a force tooâŚif only she could force herself to draw that level of power.
She found herself arriving Ivory sea, she was there alone. She moved closer to the water, falling to her knees arriving to the shore. She sat on her feet, feeling the water hit her. It was calming to her. The tide was coming soon, she just knew it.

Humphrey had been wandering the island every chance he got after the soul harvest when he was enslaved to Pan. He hated that he had to stay nights with the other enslaved, but he hadnât dared to sleep back with the lost ones or in his tree house since it had happened. The truth was he was scared what would happen whenever Pan finally started ordering him to do things. Like it or not he would have to obey him, and from what heâd heard about their infamous ruler whatever his orders were wouldnât be pleasant. Luckily for him, aside from that first night heâd hardly even seen the boy, and he took that opportunity to get out of there as often as he could, usually for the whole day. He knew how to find enough food with his foraging that he didnât starve. Today heâd wound up at one of the seas, he believed it was called the ivory one. As he took a seat in the sand, he dipped his toes in the surf and let his mind and body relax as he looked up at the sky.
Despite the islandâs dangerous trappings and people it was a strikingly beautiful place that he couldnât help but admire. This beach and the ocean it bordered was easily one of the more spectacular views on the island in his opinion, and for the first time in a long while Humphrey actually found himself smiling. Nobody hear to bother him, attack him, look down on him, or worst of all pity him for his fate at being enslaved to Pan. He didnât want anybodyâs pity. Yes, something terrible had happened but the pity only made him feel less of a person than what heâd been before, and he had a hard enough time feeling fully himself without their helping that feeling. The few people on the island he actually liked he hadnât seen since the harvest because he didnât want to be treated differently. However, dwelling on the bad things about his situation would surely drive him insane, so instead he focused on the feeling of the breeze and the surf crashing against his feet and ankles each time the tide rushed in.
Upon hearing footsteps nearby Humphreyâs calm was crushed and his eyes shot open as he looked for the source. It took him a few moments, but he soon spotted a girl who looked to be one of the native Indians walk up to the edge of the surf like he had and take a seat before it, letting the water hit her. The anxiety heâd felt at somebody else arriving dissipated, and he let out a soft laugh. To him it was clear she was just somebody else come to enjoy the water and the calm of this place like he had. Perhaps he should still be on edge, but he felt fairly sure he had nothing to fear from the other girl. Knowing that she hadnât spotted him yet, he watched her for a minute. She was rather beautiful in a sort of exotic way to him, those thoughts making him blush slightly. Feeling like it was a bit creepy to continue staring, he got up and started walking over towards her, before taking a seat about ten feet away from her and dipping his toes back in the water.
Now that he was closer, he turned and gave her a wave, smiling a little. âHello miss, itâs nice to see somebody else enjoying the water. Iâm Humphrey.â he informed her. He hoped that his being here wouldnât disturb her too much, as she might have been coming to this place to get away from others for a time. It may have been better to simply leave the girl be, but h felt that would have been rather rude of him.Â

Moon Eye felt the water hit her knees, feeling calmer as it touched her. She wanted to feel enraptured with the water. Maybe then that would wash away to guilt that seemed to be eating away at her. She was told that she shouldn't feel guilty, but she couldn't help but feel that way, who knows of Giant is dead or not. The time before judge would be pass has been going on for so long and it only made her feel worst. She was scared of the choice they may make, she placed her hands at her sides feeling the water cool her hand. Her head tilted up to the sky, feeling the heat hitting her face, maybe the tide would take her, leaving only the footprints she created. She cursed herself for thinking in such away. Who was she to wish for that, that would hurt her parents so deeply. Moon Eye couldn't do that to them.
Moon Eye been so closed off with her emotions lately that it was nearly impossible to know what she was feeling aside from caution although one look and she could know every single emotion that a person was feeling. She felt bad using that against people she knew, it was an invasion of privacy. But she couldn't afford not to do that with strangers, the last thing she needed right now was to be kidnapped, that would only hurt her parents worst than death. She felt like she was all in knots and didn't know how to untangle herself. Every time she tried, she felt like the knots were getting tighter. She felt useless.
Moon Eye kept her eyes closed as she heard laughter off in the distance, she wasn't about to get bent out of shape quite yet. She turned her hands up, feeling the tide coming closer, powered by the moon. The backs of her hands touching the ground, she felt the island hum. She could feel his aura getting closer, she inspected it before reacting, noticing much light but there was a darkness that could only be associated with Pan, though it seem like it was holding him...back. Like he too wanted freedom from the ties that bind him. She felt appreciative that he kept a bit of distance away from her, she felt though she read him, too close and she might panic and break camp, leaving him with nothing but a memory.
She opened her eyes, noticing the moon, she bowed her head slightly to the moon before turning to look at the young man before her. There was something about him that didn't make her feel like she should distrust him. He was polite with a warm smile. He seemed...nervous and making small talk. Moon Eye returned his smile with one of her own. "Here you can feel the natural forces at work, washing away things better left unmentioned. I'm Moon Eye, it's a pleasure to be in your company, sir." She said to him, rather put off by his really polite nature. She never met someone associated with Pan that was so...nice.

Meet KAIMANA PAMUY, an unborn SKY EATER
Kaimana Pamuy is the future daughter of Moon Eye. She is far from being born, but going to have great impact on Moon Eye. The child was born late into the night. Moon Eye sat holding her child, unable to name her, Mimiteh, because she was like a new moon in Moon Eyeâs life, but that didnât feel right. When she was given the clear to walk, Moon Eye began walking around the camp with her daughter, staring her, trying to pick her childâs name. She began walking towards the sea aimlessly. Moon Eye realized she was approaching Mermaid Lagoon. She quickly turned away, knowing it was not safe for either to be there. She heard the water move around and felt eyes on her. She tossed a look over her shoulder noticing a mermaid staring at her. They made eye contact before Moon Eye ran away. But holding her child, she was drawn back where she saw that same mermaid. That mermaid beckoned Moon Eye to come closer, saying that Moon Eyeâs daughter is Kaimana. That finally resonated with Moon Eye. She named her Kaimana Pamuy, Power of the Sea, Water Moon. As Moon Eye is drawn to the moon, Kaimana Pamuy is drawn to the sea, its her guide. Kaimana Pamuy sought to help fix the mermaid versus Sky Eater problem.
