Blue had had enough, ever since she had arrived on the island all it had been all questions and no answers. And she was going to get answers if it killed her, she knew exactly who to go to. Pan. He practically lived and breathed the island. if anyone knew what was going on it was him. She wouldn’t stop until she found him. Cursing under her breath she came to a stop by a large fresh water stream. The girl rolled her neck, sighing as she pushed her back against a large rock, allowing herself to fall to the floor. Raising her right leg until it bent and wrapping her arms just under her knees, she rested her forehead on her thigh, giving herself a few moments to breath.

Birds sang, which was a strange thing to hear and Blue allowed her eyes to flick up to the tops of the trees, dropping her leg and lying the back of her head on the cool surface of the rock. Pulling her dagger from the waistband of her trousers, the girls anger resurfaced. She was sick of it, everyone around here assumed she was all looks and no muscle, and she was starting to believe it herself. But regardless the girl wasn’t afraid to get a little bloody in order to prove a point.

Her intention was to get up but a branch cracking halted her movements. Her head shot tot the side, scanning the treeline the girl felt her heart pounding, until her eyes settled in some kind of shadow who seemed to be leaning against a large tree. Shrinking back into the rock, Blue chewed her bottom lip, it was almost certain her mind was playing tricks on her, but when she looked back it was still there. Gripping the handle of her dagger she let out a shaky breath before rising onto the balls of her feet, holding onto the rock with her fingertips she threw her dagger as hard as she could in the direction of the shadow. Falling forward onto her knees, the girls head shot back up towards the trees, her confident smirk fell.

Blue had been walking for just a few moments when she turned to find Rose nowhere to be seen, she frowned, her eyes rapidly scanning the surrounding area. Completely coming to a stop, straining her ears as her nose crinkled  softly, she could hear faint footsteps walking away from her just a little back along the path. ‘Little shit..’ the girl murmured in a near whisper, taking brisk steps towards the other path, hesitating slightly before a familiar bundle of dark curls came into view. Huffing softly, she took brisk steps down the path, running her fingertips across her scalp, her usual smirk painting her features as she neared the other girl. “Rose? You’re not trying to lose me, are ya?”

Walking side by side with the other girl, Blue’s smirk grew a little wider “I don’t think the others on the ship give you the credit you deserve.” Blue turned back to face the path ahead, she knew first hand how bad a ship full of guys, who were either completely and utterly sexist, or wanted to get in your pants. It wasn’t the best experience, especially for girls such as Rose. She was incredibly pretty, and extremely mature for her age, her only downfall was her naivety. Chewing her lip softly the girl continued the next few paces in silence before piping up again.

“So, we’re getting water and the raiding the infirmary in the lost ones camp for medical supplies for the ship. Right?” Blue subconsciously gripped the small handle of her dagger, its blade resting just under her waistband, easily accessible should she need it, to attack or defend. “Do you wanna collect the water while I watch your back or uh, vice versa? Us girls got to look out for each other. Y’know?” Turning her head to the other girl, a small but extremely genuine smile curved the edges of her lips.

Blue was going to get on with Rose, she could just tell.
