Possibly the noblest breakfast tradition we have discovered in America so far. Behold: the 'popover sandwich'. I.e. a giant Yorkshire pudding stuffed with breakfastable items (tomato, cheese, veggie bacon, mayonnaise, leeks). Another lightbulb moment for Charlie as he realised: why just have roast for roast when you can have it for breakfast as well?? 💡 Charlie don't love it when I photograph him eating his foods, but if there's one thing I know in this life it's that you have to look after number one! So I persist to pap him all the same. And he pretends to read the paper with a concentratey face on 😊

It's pretty, whispered the devil, but... Is it art? A snowman of rubber band balls by Maria Ward at his sunsplashed exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art. I liked it! Charlie was less impressed...
