         being surrounded by incessant CLICKS and flashes of cameras was certainly a new experience and he was not a hundred percent sure if it bothered him or not. he certainly was feeling rather UNCOMFORTABLE through it all, being around teenage girls and some boys with their mobile phones or cameras out, taking shot after shot of the girl standing only a metre from him. in the public train, of all places. was this not considered invasion of privacy? Gill chanced a glance at the supposed famous girl -- she didn’t seem to be a familiar face so perhaps she wasn’t an actress. and she was wearing a school uniform. hm.

       another sigh passed dry lips as another minute ticked by, making this his 10th just this past HOUR. it has been way past the bookshop’s closing time and yet his last customer has yet to show any signs of intent to LEAVE. to be fair, calling them a customer was somewhat reaching -- they didn’t seem to be here to peruse the shop’s wide variety of books, let alone buy anything. they seemed to be ( from what he has gathered from where he has been standing by the counter, that is ) merely taking shelter. but it wasn’t raining? it didn’t matter now, his patience has slowly been running out. 

                                   ❛ i’m sorry, miss, but we’re closing now. its late and you don’t seem to want to buy anything. ❜      did he seem to be lacking in PERSONABLE attitude? perhaps. but even the most professional man can have his own off days -- especially when he had to stay needlessly until 9 at night with an empty stomach, waiting for a customer who was not exactly a customer.           ❛ are you lost? ❜

       one thing one needed to know about him was his dislike to being MANHANDLED. it was not a matter of a man’s pride or anything of the sort -- he knew his physique was lacking in comparison to the other male on campus and he didn’t particularly mind that. what he lacked in physical prowess, he made up for in mind and achievements in other areas, after all. no, it was simply because he was embarrassingly, disgustingly.... ticklish.
