I think the reason why I really like neurodivergent Smokescreen and Nightshade since they're neurodiversity have nothing to do with them not understanding earth culture. That both of their behavior and mannerisms aren't normal by Cybertron standards or are different in a way compared to other bots around them.

Nightshade doesn't connect to others as well as their siblings and prefer to be alone in their lab despite their easygoing personality which is very interesting to me since in most media these types of characters are stoic and highly professional but Nightshade isn't like that at all they very excited about science and the books they read yet feel like others won't understand meanwhile Smokescreen 's behavior put off the Autobots like even after he been on the team for a while and for better or worse Smokescreen would say the first thing on his mind without thinking. Even if both of these characters were probably unintentionally written as neurodivergent coded. It's nice to see both of them struggle to be in a group that are narratively supposed to be the protagonists and neither are bots who big time warriors .

I don't know maybe I just wish there were more aliens/robots characters like them that are neurodivergent coded in other way besides not understanding earth culture, customs and human behavior since while their nothing wrong with that I do want to see more diversity in the neurodiversity in alien/robot characters.

Found out about Scientology speedruns and thought of Smokescreen doing the Nemesis equivalent of it. He somehow sneaks onto the ship and runs around recording, trying to see how long it takes before he’s kicked out. Imagine the bots and kids watching the videos back at base when he’s done too.

Even better if he does it enough that he actually starts mapping out a good chunk of the ship.

Oh my god. He would do that and he probably last a while since he has the phase shifter to avoid the cons like a Looney tunes short
