I generally adore her:

The game focused algorithm that seems to never have a moment to herself, she works hard and is a dotting sweetheart under the professional and serious exterior

First things first, I renamed her Nezz because “Yesss” seemed very last minute, also she’s not the only algorithm since people CAN make algorithms, she just focuses on gaming.

Her and Shank still know each other, in fact, THEY’RE GIRLFRIENDS ❤️🧡🤍💜💗, tho they don’t see each other as much as they’d like due to their jobs but they both know there’s nothing they can really do and they still love each other.

She still helps Ralph and Vanellope but it’s more showing them how King Candy as essentially become a creepypasta and has taken over entire subreddits, she also warns them about pop-ups that aren’t hers since not many people outside of algorithms have pop-ups

Still, absolutely adore her and her outfits :3

Big bear himself:

(Less completely out of character and more caring and protective)

Once “just a bad guy” now the best friend to the president of SR, helping all he can so she doesn’t have to worry or be scared like she was for over a decade, which causes a few problems

Even tho he’s not thought as just a bad guy anymore, it’s still way to easy to catch scared glances when he heads to Tapper’s or Sugar Rush, but the worst is over.

His arc is more about understanding that he can’t always fix problems for Vanellope so she won’t feel like she did before, but as long as he’s there when she needs him, he can help.

Not much to talk about because the rewrite focuses more on the aftermath of King Candy (which would make the Japanese title make more sense) and Ralph learning to understand how being friends with someone who’s been through something works but he does set off a beacon of pure data to stop the Candy Cybugs and takes charge in dealing with a reseted Turbo so Vanellope doesn’t have too

(Somehow) Turbo’s most trusted pop-up, he doesn’t actually get many people to learn about the urban myth of the unknown Sugar Rush character but he does have the connections to make up for it.

(I know the ad sucks, I didn’t know what to add and this is the best full body shot he has)

He’s the reason Ralph and Vanellope know about Turbo and King Candy being all over the internet, he also leads them to SR by saying Shank would know all about him since he’s a racer.

Gord’s also still there, and just as petrifying as he is in the actual…thing, but I wanted to post about Spamley today (please tell me if I’m posting too much and what you’d like me to talk about more) and I barely finished his recolour

Also Yoai fans, depending on what I do with this, please enjoy Turbo and Spamley having a semi similar Gaston and LeFou (Finally edited it 🎉) relationship

Tried to hold it off as long as I could but I really wanted to talk about this thing sooo:

Skittles the uni-candycorn

(Bottom is a recolour)

I WISH she (kinda Headcanon?) was in the movie, even tho she technically isn’t in the rewrite, she’s more another thing for people to deal with while they try to forget king candy.

I did make lore:

Uni-candycorns are usually rare and majestic creatures, but Skittles was in a sense, the chubby runt of the herd.

Turbo knew about the candycorns but had no real interest until a bug got in his brain and he went through their programming out of boredom.

Which is where he finds Skittles, the fasted creature in all of sugar rush, along with being the oddest one, Turbo immediately wanted her.

Even if he isn’t into horse racing, he wanted her because the idea of being the fastest in any form of racing boosted his ego to the highest levels.

He dragged Sour Bill along to try and tame Skittles but it led to a race all over sugar rush, leading to Turbo wanting her even more, until they both got too tired and past out right where they started.

That was the first and only day he wasn’t on the roster and he thinks it was worth it because Skittles is his crazy baby now…well until the diet cola volcano

King Turbug:

The one everybody sees and ties to the little Candy themed Cybugs, it’s the form Turbo goes out in and controls people with

A lot paler, duller and more “Turbotastic”, his face is all over the dark net and only the pop-ups under his thumb know who he truly is.

He’s less whimsical than he was in sugar rush but that just makes him more Turbo, less a character he’s playing and more a suit he does his business in.

Though, he’s completely gone when Turbo resets, now just a subject in chat forums and posts about the “odd Sugar rush character” that was in one console before disappearing without a word.

Technically 1/3 but IDK if I should count it

Also for some reason the song “perfect isn’t easy” from Oliver & company keeps playing in my head

Vanellope Von Schweetz:

(Doesn’t abandon her game but does learn more about who she was meant to be)

After learning her role in her game and who took it over, she grows bored of the same tracks and same rivals along with the boring responsibilities she has to take over <— summary I made for no reason

(These are recolours like the cybug, ignore the hand)

I feel like they didn’t do anything with the fact she randomly became a princess/president and had to take over King Candy/Turbo’s responsibilities (which he stole from her) so I did stuff with it.

She likes finally being able to race with all the others, and not being terrorised constantly, but all the responsibilities and the hard-to-move-in dress takes a lot out of it, to the point where she’s just bored.

And what’s worse is that there’s always way too many players, all because of king candy which only makes her feel worse!

it isn’t until Ralph disappears one night and makes her a new track did something change, a broken wheel.

She doesn’t leave her game but she learns more about how she originally was programmed and gets to lock a reseted Turbo in the fungeon :3

Also she’d actually wear her in game racing uniform but I wanted to post it before I did the recolour for some reason

Rewrite thing!

I know it’s barely been a day, but I couldn’t really wait any longer.

These are Turbo’s viruses, baby cybugs that latch onto someone’s account and lays dormant until Turbo says, don’t they look familiar?

That’s because I pulled colours from the sugar rush racers, “thour” bill and the turbo twins to make them, to show his connection to them even if he’s only using them.

The way they work is that they latch onto a person and when that person interacts with any other person for any reason, they duplicate themself and that other one latches onto the other person.

The sugar rush racer ones are the ones that do it tho, William, Buddy and Paller usually go out to look for King Candy/Turbo content to bring back To turbos nest/base that’s found deep inside the dark net.

When activated, they grow into adult cybugs and devour all information and travel into websites visited, a turbo icon popping up IRL.

Also don’t ask me if they came from eggs or from Turbo, not because it’d make me uncomfortable but because I haven’t thought about it too much and I go into depth

RBTI rewrite because I got a lot more free time and in the middle of something:

First things first, I kinda renamed it to “Turbo breaks the internet” since in this, he’s an actual virus that actually breaks the internet since he wants to be known by everyone, even as an urban legend or a virus.

A few obvious changes is Ralph’s level of clinginess for no reason, Vanellope leaving the game she literally risked herself to race in, Felix and Calhoun not getting ANY screen time (especially since they gained 10 children) along with continuity issues like the second sugar rush console disappearing not being issues in the first place.

Also Turbo gets a musical number since he deserves one, it’s out of character that he didn’t break into song in the actual movie

Made this in like, 10 mins tops so don’t gas me too hard

I’ll post more when I can and thank you to @chicken-education for both the musical number idea and for me to actually post about this, it’s a fun thing and it will actually keep me on track ❤️

So I got board and made a Tandemaus redesign because I could and I thought a rat king would be a better idea, since they’re mice stuck together by their tails

I changed a bit of their personality as well but it’s mostly how they act due to being tied together by the tail

Maushold usually fight over who takes charge and whoever wins during evolution gets the bigger crown which shows that they’re the one in charge

I also added that they’re usually male but on rare occasions, one can be seen with a upside down crown which shows that it’s female (which would make it genderless in the sign)

Something about Scarlet & Violet is that sometimes, it feels like they’re trying to pad the Pokédex so they can promote “a thousand different types of Pokémon” which explains the regional variants being mostly different Pokémon and the odd designs

The one I think shows this the most is the Pawmi line, having a unneeded middle evo that looks like Pawmi but with a light colour

So I got rid of one and redesigned the others a bit

I mostly changed the colours shades and added more sharp and electric edges to the tail and tips of the ears but I do believe the OGs were ok, just needed something
