Robert listened, his expression fell as she spoke. First he couldn’t bring himself to believe her, then he reached out and touched her hand gently, even as his own heart was breaking. “I- I’m so sorry,” he said, barely holding back tears himself. He’d just seen Logan a few days ago, the other guy had been so happy. 

Clara looked up at him, barely holding back tears but holding onto his hand. “It’s okay Just--- haven’t told anyone else yet.” She admitted, she didn’t even wanted to call Mitchum yet, he hated her enough already. “You guys deserved to know first, I know how much he loved all of you.”

Robert went into the bedroom and picked a t-shirt out from the closet, he put it on and then went back out to Clara, “you can come further inside,” he said, noticing that she was still standing just barely inside, “I promise I will not hurt you, m’lady.” There was a somewhat joking tone to his voice, then she said he might want to sit, which instantly had him more worried. He tried not to hide it though, “alright honey, let’s sit.” He gestured to his couch before taking a seat himself.

There was a slight blush on her face when he pointed out how she was still just by the entrace, and walked towards the couch, sitting infront of him. “Logan.... He went out this morning to run a few errands but then later... Few hours later I- I got a call from a hospital.” Clara started to explain, pinching the bridge of her nose and trying hard to fight back tears, still trying to come to terms with the news. “There was some... freak accident, something of some kind but... Logan- Logan didn’t make it.”

Robert nodded, “Yes, that is me,” he confirmed and stepped aside to let her in, “don’t worry darling, you’re not interrupting anything.” God what had Logan done that made her seek out him of all people? “Come on inside and make yourself comfortable.” He gestured into the apartment and offered her a gentle smile, “If you give me a moment I will put on a shirt.”

Clara gave him a thankful smile and stepped inside, arms wrapped around herself. “Thank you.” She said softly. “Yeah, y-yeah of course.” She waited for him to get back, fumbling with a strand of her hair while she waited for him to get back, not even being able to move further than the few steps inside his appartment than she had taken. “You- you might want to sit down for this.” She said once Robert was back.

Robert was shirtless, watching Reservoir Dogs when there was a knock on his door, he was confused as to what someone was doing at his place, he didn’t have plans with any of the boys and his family always let him know before they showed up. Pausing the movie he got up, humming a cheerful tone as he went to open the door. He recognized the clearly upset girl from Logan’s description and pictures, this was Clara, but what was she doing here? “Hello,” he said, “Clara, right?”

There was a weak smile on her face when she was recognized. “Yeah.” Se answered weakly. “You’re Robert, right?” She asked, hoping she hadn’t gotten the wrong person. “I- I am sorry if I interrupted anything I just--- ” She let out a shaky breath, closing her eyes tightly for a moment to hold back tears. “Can I talk to you?”
