I finished the Vampire Book Club yesterday and I'm listening to the 2nd book, Chapter and Curse. I'm about 25% of the way into it.

I'm enjoying it so far. It's nice that the Protagonist in this series is an older women. I did get book envy as she was talking about some donations that came into her book store including several 1st editions.

I finished this on Sunday and started next one in the series right away. So far there really isn't any romance which is nice. Just our middle aged female Mc occasionally looking at men and going 'yes he is attractive.'

We’re currently sitting at 64% for the @queerliblib fundraiser. In an effort to generate some more interest, I have set son new threshold goals:

At $400 I’ll release a short story focused onJoe and Cassie from my novel, Blackpoint.

I needed an easy fluffy book so I started a new series by a familiar author. The Vampire Book Club by Nancy Warren, audiobook by Hollis McCarthy.

Her audiobooks are always present and easy to get into. I started listening 6/19 and I'm almost done. I'm at 91% so I'll probably finish it today.

I've previously listened to the audiobooks for 2 of her series. The Vampire knitting club & the great Witches baking show. I enjoyed both of them. There are some characters from the vampire knitting club series that showed up late in this book.

I started the audiobook for Demon Queen by Martha Wells. Its taking me a bit to get back into the vibe of the book but that's pretty typical for me.

I'm currently at 7%.

I ended up returning this without finishing it. I put a hold on it so I can try again later.

I started the audiobook for Demon Queen by Martha Wells. Its taking me a bit to get back into the vibe of the book but that's pretty typical for me.

Audiobook of A Taste of Gold and Iron by Alexandra Rowland. Read by Casey Jones.

This took a while to grab my attention but I got really into it once it got going.

Plus it is very casual about its queerness which is baked into the setting/text & presented without comment. The MC is a man who sleeps with other men, & there is at least 1 set of unusual pronouns being used.

I finished this book the other day and really enjoyed it.

I finished it and immediately went to look for sequels. Unfortunately there is only 1 and it is a short one.
