              he can’t help but to reach out to take a clasp of magnus’ hand now, more grateful for the offer than he knows how to express with WORDS. tying them together never seems to flow to his lips the way they are formed in his mind, but the sentiment is appreciated beyond all measures. with magnus he felt SAFE. more free to be himself than he was anywhere else or with anyone else. not at all shamed for having the feelings that he did. it only made him fall HARDER for the other man. just as everything else about magnus seemed to do already.

                          “ i’d like that — to stay here i mean. though they may question it if i’m gone too long.” yet somehow in that moment he can’t seem to find it in him to CARE. just as he’s not sure his parents can take the time to understand or accept who he was & that he was NO different than he had ever been.

                    a small chuckle escaped the warlock’s parted lips. using their knitted hands, he gently guided the other forward --- CLOSER, attempting to close the gap between them. magnus loved alexander more than anything. his safety && well-being were important to him. he needed to make sure that it was made clear. ( even though he was fairly certain he didn’t need to prove it further. )
