Maybe we’ll meet again, when we’re slightly older and our minds less hectic, and I’ll be right for you and you’ll be right for me. But right now I am chaos to your thoughts and you are poison to my heart.

Don’t worry when I argue with you. Worry when I stop cause that just means there’s nothing left worth fighting for.

When you meet the right person, you know it. You can’t stop thinking about them. They are your best friend, and your soulmate. You can’t wait to spend the rest of your life with them. No one and nothing else can compare.

Isn’t it scary knowing that any time could be the last time you talk to someone? Keep that in mind.

i support girls anger. i support girls who yell. i support girls who get called bitches and cunts at parties because they’ll swear at guys who won’t leave them alone. i support girls who don’t believe in second chances and cut off people who hurt them. i support girls who say no the first time and flip you off if you ask them again. i support girls who will never allow themselves to be pushovers and constantly get shit for it. you’re fucking incredible.

Oh No! was written in response to being terrified of not achieving what I say I want to achieve every time I open my big mouth… I was paralysed by fear, and couldn’t stop thinking about being a failure and was convinced that I’d become a ‘self-fullfilled prophecy’ if my brain didn’t shut up and stop being so negative. So I put it in a song. It made me feel confident again after a shaky 6 months. Life is just a barrel of laughs at the end of the day anyway!
This photo series is called ‘Marked.’ The first image of the men, whose ages range from 18 to 26, was taken 5 months before they were stationed in Afghanistan.
For the 2nd image, Felicie went to the Middle East during their 6-month service and took their portraits.
The final pictures were taken two months after they had returned.
These men claimed they were unchanged by the war, but didn’t want to go into detail about their personal experiences.
Felicie has a book of her photography, entitled 'Here Are the Young Men,’ that includes personal notes on how her son being deployed to a warzone affected her personally.
