Year in Review
Some of 2016’s better moments.
By Savana Ogburn.
do you ever want to check up on someone but it’s just not ur place anymore
i hate those ‘depression tips’ posts that are like “clean your entire house, you’ll feel better!” and “do something creative, like writing a story or sculpting!” like i literally can’t move even though i’ve had to pee for the past 2 hours but thanks
Finally.
Being chemically calm/happy is something I never thought would work, but I'm so glad I finally faced what was bringing me down. I'm more focused without wanting to overthink and obsess over every detail. I'm finally able to wake up and not feel like a failure or that I'm so miserable with life that I would rather die than go to school or work.
Sad. So fucking sad.
Hey. I just wanted to tell you that I love you & I appreciate you. ❤️
I really needed this. Thank you, anonymous!
An underground garbage fire is burning right next to a nuclear waste site — and little is being done
Up to 200 feet of rotting garbage is slowly burning underground thanks to an uncontrolled fire at the Bridgeton Landfill outside St. Louis, resulting in a constant stench. But worse is the fire’s proximity to the neighboring 200-acre West Lake Landfill Superfund site full of radioactive waste from World War II-era nuclear bomb tests. Residents are calling on the EPA to do more, but it may be a complete no-win disaster.
