Trust God. Cast all of your problems and concerns on Him.

For a person to get married when they are in a season of preparing for work, vocational training, or securing employment to establish a career is both dangerous and disruptive. Because they can't devote themselves fully to either pursuit.

Choosing God's Best

Once people who have experienced rejection are in a marriage relationship, their need for attention, acceptance, and affection is perpetual and consuming. This puts a great burden on the partner and on the marriage.

You may know with your head that you have unconditional acceptance from God, but that knowledge may not have gotten down into your heart.

Perhaps intellectually you know you are forgiven, but you may not know it emotionally.

Therefore you never feel worthy.

Marriage tends to reveal past hurts.

Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.

Sin begins when our own perceived needs take priority over our commitment to Jesus Christ.

We are never too old, nor do we outgrow the need to be under authority and receive counsel.

Some of us carry wounds from the past, some carry scars.

The ideas that grasp us in our innermost parts are the ideas that shape our lives. When our thoughts are corrupted, our lives follow suit. We are what we think.

Since we are living by the spirit, let us follow the spirit's leading in every part of our lives.

Once you leave what He [God] has called you to do, and you try to rule other people's worlds, you are on your own. God is not interested in helping you advance your own kingdom, someone else's kingdom, or to rule someone else's world. God has a kingdom, and in it He has designated specific authority for specific individuals to work according to a specific plan to best advance His kingdom.

So basically, I won't be able to identify a man aligned under the will of God if I myself fail to live every part of my life under the will of God.

I don't want it, if it is not from God.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
