It used to be only milky time for baby sloth, but ever since he turned 6 months old, it's not only milky time but also mum-mum time. One of his favourite moments nowadays is to ask for food whenever he sees his older sister and brother eating. I went on the net and searched for healthy baby snacks to give him between meals if he appears hungry. I'm so amazed that there are plenty of recipes, and Alven was definitely spoilt by all the choices. One of the healthy snacks that I would recommend would be Yogurt with Fruit Puree! Look at him being contented with one of his favourite fruit, Apple! One very good information I have got from the HPB website was that when baby turns 10 months old, their food only needs to be mashed, chopped or cut into small pieces. He is now able to eat a small piece of apple on his own! Had this bitter and sweet moment when Alven started weaning. It means that he will no longer only rely on me for milk. But at the same time, I'm so proud that my baby boy has grown up. Started researching about food that are suitable for babies and I'm surprised that they were so many choices despite him being this young! The first food we tried giving him was porridge with mashed broccoli and carrot, and there was no rejections! I have also tried to look for healthy snacks for him like wholemeal bread sticks to match along with Guacamole (Swipe right for the recipe for Guacamole!) so he could have some snacks time while his siblings are snacking.
