Detour 85 Seel Street, Liverpool UK
This is one hip place!
The chic atmosphere with its cosy nooks, plus the fab drink menu really makes it special. Not a pub, but a place to visit none the less.
The Coburg! Stanhope Street, Liverpool, UK
The Cornmarket, Old Ropery, Liverpool UK
Yet another gorgeous Liverpool Pub! I stumbled across this one as I was on route elsewhere and my initial destination wasn't open yet, so I killed some time with a pint of Guinness and crisps. From the looks of it, besides several taps, they also have decent pub food.
The Grapes on Matthew Street, Liverpool UK
They say the young lads would get their meger check/s from their 1st mgr Allan Williams at the White Star, cash 'em at the Grapes, hang out, have a few drinks there, then head over to the Cavern to play.
This wall mural is bright and colorful. I decided to treat it to some filters for a retro look.
The Grapes? It's a nice chill pub with a good vibe.
Another fab visit to the Baltic Fleet in Liverpool! It's warm and inviting...just one sea shanty away from excellence!
This place is described as an intergalactic bar of sorts, kind of like the one in the first Star Wars movie, with a younger crowd of all sorts!
I'd say more if I could but, it was a quick pit stop and I really don't know a lot about this place, I guess I'll have to revisit!
The Swan Inn, Wood Street, Liverpool
Is it me, or is the Guinness the best at Pogue Mahone?
St. Peter's Tavern on Seel St., Liverpool.
An old church, est.1788! Desanctified 35 or so years ago, now a fantastic looking pub/tavern with 3 floors of nooks, crannies and pews! Very cool looking place. High marks...as a tid bit, the music was a tad loud and carried a younger crowd, but that didn't dampen the fun. I had a nice Guinness pour, fyi.
The Royal Institution Bar
This bar off Seel street in Liverpool is a very chill and sophisticated establishment with its hip drink menu, gilded decor, mood lighting and the high quality service. While music was on, it was not that loud...as some places can be. I've visited 3-4 times, and feel the bar has a really great low key charm.
This pub is so cool with its creepy WWII, steampunk and comic book decor! One of my favorites in Liverpool.
My first pub visit back in Liverpool! The good warmth and vibe of the Baltic fleet cannot be disputed! Young and old come in from Chrimbo shopping to enjoy a variety of libations!
The Blackburne Arms Gastro Pub and Hotel 24 Catherine Street, Liverpool
This traditional pub has upstairs guestrooms. Breakfast is included in the room rate on weekends, served in the downstairs pub. Also offering British classics at lunch and dinner, with a traditional Sunday roast. The bar serves organic ales & rotating specialty beers, as well as offering live music on Friday nights.
- Nice, warm cozy pub what else can I say? I had a nice visit, so did my lovely fiance!
The Engineer - Arrad Street, Liverpool The White Hart - Hope Street, Liverpool
What? Two pubs in one!?! This place is cool! On one side you have a steam punk sort of pub with cosy upstairs rooms for small intimate gatherings, the other side is a classic old pub with curtains, warm decor and outdoor seating! I really like this place! Plenty of local taps, charm, candle light, warmth and friendly service etc. This one is high on my list for mood, ambiance and decor.
Ma Egerton's Stage Door - 9 Pudsey Street Liverpool
I was feeling it was high time I visited this pub. They had some good beers on tap, but I recently saw something about their pizza and thought I'd pop in for lunch. This pub, from 1846, named after the longest operator, Mary Egerton, has all the look and charm you'd expect from an older pub surrounded by theatres of the day, but with close proximity to the Empire Theatre now, they offer food and bev to theatre patrons and actors before and after shows. I ordered the Sean Connery, which was the Margarita Pizza. Good. Coupled with the Dick Turpin best bitter out of Cheshire, it was a really nice visit!
The White Star 2-4 Rainford Gardens, Liverpool, UK.
Venerable victorian pub, named after the shipping company. Offering a nice range of real ales. Somewhat famous from the Beatles going in to get their checks from their very first manager, Allan Williams. It's also said they played their first gig there!
I feel the place attracts character and it's always a pleasure to pop in!
The Excelsior 121-123 Dale St, Liverpool UK
I had a great pit stop today, having a nice (and interesting) Elderflower Pale Ale from Purple Moose Brewery in Wales!
