LONG WEEKEND

This is just ironic. I ended freshman year with a bang and it’s the same with senior year. Two people I care about overdid it. Please be safe guys. One was already found dead in a forest. I don’t need another dark vibe bothering my dreams. Thanks

Highlight of my day today

I JUST LEARNED HOW TO CODE AND FORM A WEB PAGE ON MY OWN #smallvictories.

Did anyone see KW’s going off on Wiz, like omg I was laughing for a good portion of time.

The new song by Rihanna is amazing!!

My 22nd birthday is coming up. I hope to do something with y'all and actually celebrate my birthday lol. (secretly hoping to wear the crown).

Spring 16 when its Winter

It is so strange that we are in 2016. However, I am glad it is the spring semester regardless of the current weather we are in as of now. 2015 was such a blah year for me and for most of us. I would like to take the time to thank all of you loves for being here for me and still being in my life. Half of us are going to graduate after this semester, which I am super excited for you guys. This break I literally just worked. I have had three days off in a row, and got bored on the second day. I always do need to be doing something, This year is going to bring changes to our lives with graduation, jobs, and life changes. I am personally excited to see what this year brings. 

Winter Summary:

Worked 85 hours in 16 days only for textbook money. 

Saw Spectre :)

Spent quality time with you loves 

Got 3 days off in a row!!!! 

Deleted useless persons number from 2015. 

2016 is a new year of positive energy only. 

Jin’s motto: NEVER FORGIVE OR FORGET. Just take out the people who give bad energy to ya. 

School starts on Monday, which I am super excited about for some reason. My inner nerd is coming out, and I hope to see my academic soulmate at campus within next week.

End of my last winter break :(

I’m really gonna miss that 6-7 week long winter break depaul has but anyways… winter break summary?

-went to jamaica, where I went to my first strip club, and a stripper named chocolate became by best friend for a night so that was cool. We also went on a boat tour and margaritaville omg so much fun

- I got a teavana and not just any teavana but the oprah chai teavana for xmas and my life has not been the same since

- new years at the mid because why not go to th most overated and overpriced edm club in chicago with ur BFF and bf lol still a fun night

-my grandma turned 90, and my mom's breast cancer is gone 🙌

-I met jacks parents…. and we’ve been together for 6 months. Wooowww that’s cray cray

-went skiing for the first time

And…. that’s about it.

Kickin it!

So, I ended last semester decently and I can say I’m officially graduating this semester. I just put in my intent to graduate and the feeling really is bittersweet. I also met way too many new people during finals week than the actual semester. WTF?! Anyway, I’m excited to just chill and kick it back for this semester. I also am graduating with  a B.S in Biochemistry! FUCK YEAH!

-My team did not make regionals... fun season though

- DePaul Basketball Home Openers had the biggest attendance for the first time in 10 years! As VP of Blue Crew the athletics department is gonna pay for a very fancy dinner... aww yeah! Go Blue Demons!

- 2 papers, 1 presentation, 1 video project, and 1 exam until winter break (all within the next few days lol)

- a couple of weeks from now i'll be in Jamaica so it's all good

Growth

These past couple weeks, I realized something. To understand what it means to be an adult.

It means to let things slide, to not let them phase you.

It means to accept, it is what it is.

It means people that you loved the most at a point will not talk to you out of the blue.

It means to learn our society sucks ass. 

It means to enjoy simple pleasures.

It means to love those around you, they can disappear to dust. ( like literally, since we have numerous bones).

It means you can no longer be content with temporary happiness.

It means to be responsible for the fate of your career.

It means to love yourself.

It means to perfect your soul.

It means, you will not be as emotional and caring as you once were.

It means to understand shit happens.

It means to understand majority of people will only do things for their benefit.

CLUB SOCCER

We tied U OF I! the most undefeated team ever that always beats us 9-0! Like we tied them 1-1 and we only had one sub! And I don't have to play goalie anymore which means I'm getting in shape asap because I felt like death and I have to stop drinking because playing hungover is no longer an option. And I get half credit for the goal today! FUCK YES THIS TEAM IS SO GONNA MAKE REGIONALS 🙌⚽✌🎉❤ ALYSSA

So I guess summer

~ finished ORGO FOR GOOD!! NO MOOOOO

~ Med app/grad apps suck, but I finished them early. 

~ Internship: greatest change ever

~ I like to party with MBAs and like-minded professionals, (My bank account is crying)

~SISE- two week networking/free visits/learning/mentoring

~ Boys: None, I was a turtle. 

~ School thus far: Amazing. I can’t describe the new faces and friends

~ I might be a published student towards the end of this year :P

~ Jin Jin- I appreciate the visit and talk earlier this week. Visit UIC more often with lil sis. 

~ Mandy- Visit fo sho

~ Bffl- Bffl adventures restarted.

End of Summer/Beginning of Fall Semester

~Left Regal!: It was a good 4 years. Lots of memories

~Working at Gap for now, hopefully new internship in the city. 

~My body is out of shape as well lol. But Motivation is strong to lose the weight I gained.

~Health wise: I got a bit by a Flea or something, so I have Ugly ass bites all over me.

~School starts tomorrow!!! But I have online classes

~ bf? no but its complicated as always. Foreign boo is a mystery. 

All I did was work this summer, be sick, and chill with my brother.

-quit macys. RxBar gave me raise and full time gig... holla. -rxbar rebranding and adult work is stressful -VP for blue crew... also stressful -club soccer captain.... more work than I expected -my body... out of shape -my alcohol tolerance... liver is failing -new pumpkin spice rxbar... to die for -school.... don't start till September -new bf.... he's awesome -new bf?? yeah I have one. -new gay bestie... sings karaoke w/me -summer... so much change.
