I saw a fic so I will now yap about how I’m kinda projecting my experience with my asian mother who absolutely was a tiger parent until y7 and then kinda chilled off. She was brutal, but one of my toxic traits is that I completely agree with her methods and attitude towards my grades.

She never let me quit and forced me to keep learning even when I was crying, it was a huge reason as to why I became a times table whizz and more importantly, made me extremely disciplined and have a high work ethic.
