The viewer has a concrete view of what they expect a story to be based on the tropes and cliches they're used to seeing together, and when that doesn't happen, they judge it as a failed depiction of what they assumed it was going to be instead of judging it as what it actually is.

"This show is problematic because the hero didn't kill the villain at the end": When does he steal the bread?

"These two characters who were close friends throughout the series don't kiss at the end! What the fuck?": When does he steal the bread?

"This feels like it's missing a conclusion! Like, the protagonist does bad stuff and because of a critical decision he makes as a result of his major character flaws, meets tragedy in the end! Where's the part where he learns better and brings is love back from the dead and becomes a good guy and gets a happy ending?": When does he steal the fucking bread??

okay so i watched it with my best friend who is the world's biggest roguegambit warrior which made for a very funny viewing experience because we just kind of talked shit about it lol. i could definitely do without it though😭 but it didnt really taint the show for me

And it was about geto and sukuna in the context of their dynamic with Gojo. It’s funnier if you actually see it but oh my god I giggled for a solid minute 😭.

The fact that there’s an actual line from geto about feeling jealous of sukuna satisfying Gojo in their fight bc they simply matched and challenged each other in a way no one has ever been able to do before (being sorcerers on the same freakquency) makes it partially true too hshsksjkskk

imo. cult leader geto loses aura because he is so interested in MAINTAINING aura. Like he is incredibly concerned with his image and becoming a god which is loser shit. If Gojo snapped and started killing people(maybe if Geto doesn't stop him from killing the cult after Riko's death?) he is not desperately trying and failing to live up to being a god I feel like he's wandering around having let go of his sense of responsibility to the world. If Nanami decided to go evil he is forming a union of curse users and making money instead of aurafarming. And evil Shoko is doing crazy Kenjaku-esque mad scientist shit. These are cooler evil things to be doing with your time!

Which DC character would you most be excited to get adapted by James Gunn? Is it Kara? She seems very different than her CW version(only supergirl media ive ever interacted with) so I'm curious!

im VERY excited for kara but honestly im just excited to see more of this new dcu in general. a lot of what james gunn has said about how he wants to approach this universe (like what he learned from marvel, what he wants to do differently, etc) sounded really promising and i really liked all of his superhero movies so far, so im just excited to see where he's going to take this.

aquaman is one of my favorite dc heroes and mera (best known for being his love interest I guess) is one of my favorite characters of all time, so I would love love love an aquaman movie of course !

other than that, I'd also like to see a movie take on batman with robin but I also know that a dick grayson casting announcement would start a war on twitter so uhhhhhh good luck to anyone who's still on there <3 speaking of dick, id kill for a teen titans movie... MY KORY.... if I cant have dickkory in the actual comics anymore I think we should get them in the dcu . as a treat.
