☕️ - ok, legend of Zelda!! What games you like, the film coming out, the oot remake THE LOT

ahhhhh my beloved!!

my favourite zelda game of all time is twilight princess, partially because it was the first one i ever played but also just. it is SO good in my opinion and midna is one of my favorite zelda characters of all time. second on the list might be breath of the wild? i just adore adore adore all the characters💗which is also why i loved age of calamity #myfanservice #fanbeingserviced.

i haven't played all the zelda games (just off the top of my head im missing wind waker, link between worlds, the wind waker sequel that i forgot the name of and links awakening) but i think out of all the ones i have played the only one i ultimately didn't enjoy was tears of the kingdom ? and like, i thought i did at first lol and i had a good time with parts of it (mostly going on a hunt for all the costumes) but after the initial excitement of !!!!! botw sequel !!!!! wore off i was like Well . is it Good tho. and it is mostly Not.

im toooooootally not bitter that the oot remake is only for the switch 2 im tooooooooootally not im soooooooo happy for everyone with a switch 2. genuinely hope everyone has a lot of fun with it but also if they ever come out with a twlight princess remake for a console i dont have you will see me on the news🫶.

ABOUT THE FILM. i feel like if it had come out like. seven years earlier i would have been sooooooo fucking excited about it ohmygod. (and i feel like rumors about it have been floating around for ages??) as it stands im kind of—eh? about it? i genuinely dont have a strong opinion on it, idk im pretty live action remake/adaptation fatigued ajsjdjwjxjs. like you can, in theory, do a lot of fun stuff when adapting something into a new medium, including taking something animated and adapting it into live action. i just. i have some Doubts that it will be anything particularly exciting ? like best case scenario it'll be a fun popcorn movie that i can go watch with my brother, which i probably will lol. but im not like—counting down the days til it comes out yk asjdjsjdjsj
