Why was jk so awkward going about saying jimin did a good job.
Instead of straight up being forward about it. Instead it was soft tones. Long awkward pauses. Unbreakable eye contact like heās trying to tell him something with his eyes. Itās confusing to me, like what is he getting at.

So, there are a couple posts on the blog discussing what was meant but I will give you my take. JK wasn't being awkward; he was being careful. KM are close and intimate, but when they are at work surrounded by people they barely know, they can't just say everything that is on their mind. JK needed to say something to JM, but he couldn't say it out loud in front of everyone. So, he used a lot of non-verbal communication instead. Hence the crazy long stare and why he said "you get what I mean right". He conveyed something to JM that was just for him. This was to protect their privacy, and especially Jimin's, but also to be respectful to JM as his friend or partner.
I can't know what he meant exactly (I can't read minds!) but from the context it can be inferred. JK kept reiterating that JM had done well in his dance and was waiting for JM to agree in a way that was believable to him. It seemed he could sense JM was doubting himself or going into perfectionist mode, which can be very hard emotionally but also affect your work itself. JK was trying to snap him out of that without everyone around knowing exactly what he was trying to do. Kookie gets an unfairly bad wrap because he's an introvert, but he is often very careful and thoughtful with what he says, and he did so in this clip. It would have been embarrassing to JM if JK said, "Stop doubting yourself," or "You're not in a good place (mentally, emotionally) and I can tell." The long stare was him doing that but also giving JM intense attention and affection. Stares like that are uncommon. In our everyday lives, we're unlikely to have long, unbroken eye contact with people. It's usually saved for flirting/courting (making romantic feelings known), moments of intimacy (emotional or physical; sharing something profound) or perhaps conflict (sizing someone up/judging their intentions). In this case, I would categorize it as emotional intimacy. And, not to be controversial, but I think JK was also trying to convey how taken he was with JM in the performance, which again is not something he can say out loud in the way he would like to... lol.
having seen jikook's interactions in 2013 and 2014 in chronological order I noticed jm didn't start expressing his 'love' for jk until the start of their promotions for their skool luv affair album in early 2014. he continued until promotions ended but when they filmed AHL and now2 in the middle of the year jm treated jk normally. then when they started promoting dark and wild he was back to expressing his love for jk constantly. to me that indicates the over the top affection was mostly an act

I mostly agree wjth you, except i do think the feelings behind those times of playing it up for the camera were genuine. I really do think in 2014, Jimin was struggling yo comes to terms with how he felt about JK a bit. Even if he wasn't fully aware if he was crushing or not. Take AHL for example. Yes, there were no over the top expressions of love, but you could still see the very genuine moments of care, and times they would comfort each other, be there for each other, seek each other out. Such as when JK hurt himself during the dance battle, Jimin was the one who went and worried over him and sat with him on the floor
Or Jimin was constantly looking out for JK, crossing the street, finding ways to make him laugh, trying to comfort him when they got in trouble. Even though he, himself was super pissed and angry about the situation. JK saying that he understands Jimin a lot and feels similarly too him during that same moment.
Or when we got behind the scenes photos, we saw them once again, sitting down and waiting together at times
There was a ton of cute Jikook moments that highlighted how much they care for each other. When they got kidnapped and Jimin switched places with Suga to be next to Jungkook while he was scared. When Jungkook immediately challenged the other dancer in their own battle when he was rude and pushed Jimin during theirs. When Jimin was trying on the women's hanbok and he kept telling Jimin that he looked good, and looking at him 1 part amused and 1 part like he really liked what he was seeing. Playing together and making each other smile.
I think AHL makes it obvious that the draw towards the other and Jimin's affections were always there, always genuine. Same with the logs they posted, those felt more personal and true. But that yes, during promotions and other on camera moments, Jimin would sometimes hype it up a bit and exaggerat those feelings, but they had to come from somewhere. Lol and even when they were behaving more normally, the affection is still 100% there. And I know they all were and are touchy Feely, but I think it's funny thay when asked about it, Tony mentioned Jikook as well. They have always been so close to each other for sure.
Soooo I guess in short I DO agree, but I also don't. I hope this all makes sense š and the affection went both ways too, for sure. Of course this is all just my opinion. You are all free to agree or not and see things however you want to!

To start, when they had a full on room service fancy hotel dinner date in the middle of the night and were so giggly:
When they left the airport together after getting home from a Japan concert, went out to eat at the Golden Pig Restaurant (JK had eaten there before and had apparently said he would have to take Jimin back there one day) and then went ice skating together, all literally as soon as they landed back in Korea. Lol

When they went to go see Avengers: Endgame in the movie theater together and a fan spotted them. Their manager was in the seat next to them for this one
When Jimin took JK with him to go out to eat and sightsee with his friends around London
Their Malta Red Moon boat date that they had after dropping off all the other members, they took the boat out alone to stargaze and see the red moon together. And they played romantic music for their own BGM and sat legs entwined in the boat
Of course we have to mention that they went to Toyko Disneyland together, hello GCFT. And fans who spotted them said they were very cozy together
When Jimin posted a cute video of him and JK watching the first snow together. A couple tradition in South Korea
When they stayed after their concert for a bit together to sit just off the side of the stage and watch all the fireworks together and with ARMY
When they were tipsy and flirting with each other online and facetiming each other from the exact same room, just the 2 of them and so giggly together
Hobi joining them to make it a 3J date to go see Big Bang in concert since the 3 of them were huge fans, fans spotted them in the crowd

They are just so cute together and it's obvious that they absolutely love spending time together doing things they enjoy too! Absolutely precious.
