[That being said], Emil does not care to examine whether her parents were good parents or not. 'They were, end of the story' as far as she's concerned and she'll sooner punch anyone daring to question it than entertain the idea.
They are dead. She'd lost them both as a child. She's not interested in examining their approach. She was under Poinciana's influence longer than she was under her own parent's and it kills her and while she knows they probably weren't as perfect as she remembers them to be, she simply has to cling to what little she remembers, no matter how inaccurate.
Today's mood: brain's bashing pots and pans that I should write some drabbles or headcanons about Rozalina and Ruben mostly cause Emil has idealised image of them in her mind, both from the fact she has only foggy memories of them and Jaya was only mentioning the good parts of them when reminiscing.
But they were flawed and while they were doing their best, they weren't perfect.
Oh, look, Emil got back closer to taking 90% of my brainpower than 80.
But yeah, as I was saying in the last two weeks: slow month. Very slow. Not even half of my 10K word count goal
Brain was not braining and was blue-screening any time I was staring at longer drafts, feeling like doing one-liners-only threads instead; alas, the attitude of the RPC had shifted over the years and people at large are not into one-liners-only anymore and there were no takers.
Off to June and another 10K IC writing goal; not changing that. If need be I'll just write one-liner-only threads between my own muses to pad it out and call it 'relationship development thread' ;p My muses know each other and talk to each other so there should be some record of it somewhere, not only the back of my head.
Asks are low too, but they have a different achievement criteria and I dare to claim 28 is noticeably more than 15, so goal reached on that front xD
