She wiped at her tears as soon as she sees someone pop into the cafe. Not wanting to be more of a fuss than she was, she quickly wiped at her tears, and gave the other a wobbly smile. “Yes, it is…!” she straightened herself out.

She was going to mess this up. It kept ringing through her head, and she couldn’t help but agree. She was a walking mess, and she couldn’t help it. Plucking a menu from the backside, she strode out the door again, just hoping she wouldn’t trip again.

"Sorry about that…! I guess it’s er— I guess they call it first day jitters? I’m not too sure myself, but I guess I was gonna mess up at one point anyways, so.. it’s alright… I guess…"

She couldn’t lie to herself (well she could, but she wasn’t doing a good job at it). She could feel the tears prickling at her eyes again. I guess I’m still a crybaby…

"So, have a seat!"

Oh boy this was going to be fun, he could tell. Whatever. He was here now and wasn't about to suddenly leave. Forcing a smile that looked genuine and (he hoped) comforting, he nodded politely and followed her to a table.

"Don't worry, everyone gets nervous sometimes. You'll be fine, I'm sure." He did his best to reassure her as he sat down. It wouldn't do to have her shake from her nerves and spill something on him. Diego just wanted to be served and leave with as little fuss as possible, though it seemed like that was just a fantasy, looking at the girl who was to wait on him.

"I'm Diego Brando, by the way. You can call me Dio."

Tie fixed, shirt straightened, gloves on, smile wide.

This is what Usagi told herself as she fixed up her appearance in front of the mirror for what seemed to be the umpteenth time today. “Aah! I’m going to mess this up, I know it, I know it, I know it!” she screams, pulling on her pigtails in nervousness.

Like usual, she was late with sending in her application and as such— all the cute maid positions were taken. Though, she knew that she would look totally cute wearing a butler’s outfit too, so here she was. She was nervous about spilling food on others either way, whether she was wearing a skirt or a pair of pants.

Do it for the sweets, Usagi. All those free sweets she would somehow coax her bosses into giving her. “Let’s do this!”

The blonde steps out, chin up and smile wide as she stepped out into the shop—

— and tripped, landing right on her face. She pulls herself up, now sitting, and brushes off the dust. She wouldn’t cry, she wouldn’t cry, she wo—

Ah. "This is stupid. I can’t do this."

Diego was still getting a feel for this large school, and his attention was mostly on the small map in his hands as he wandered the grounds, exploring. Apparently there was a café of sorts around here.

Maybe they do a decent cup of coffee. He mused, a small smile on his lips. Nobody had bothered to show him around but he had been given a vague map upon arrival, and that was completely fine by him. He would have hated to be babied as soon as he got here.

He was so lost in his thoughts he nearly walked right past the small shop, but caught himself upon hearing the sound of sobbing from inside.

Oh boy... He knew he'd kick himself for it later, but opened the door and peeked inside regardless.

Sure enough there was a sobbing girl in a suit. 

"Excuse me, miss...This is the café, isn't it..? If you're busy I can come back later."
