Teacher Steve Harrington x reader
Summary: your friends tease you all the time for having a crush on your teacher, only to find out he likes you too.
A/N: hi guys, I wanted to make a teacher fic with Steve but of course not a crazy age gap. Reader is of age! Since Steve is a college teacher in this.

It was another late night study, you hated late nights like this. You were suppose to be partying “enjoying” the stupid frat boys. But honestly you rather study then be in a room full of dumb men.
But there was one man who had your eyes and your full attention. That was Mr. Harrington, he was so charming and silly he love to joke with you. Even though he was way older you still were of age. All of your friends tease you for it they all joke about how you have these googly eyes for him.
But just your luck as you were studying and minding your business Mr. Harrington saw you as he was passing by the library. “Hey you.. why are you here so late?” Mr Harrington asked as he smiled looking at you. You looked up as soon as you heard his voice. “Oh hi.. um studying I guess for fun?” You said unsure since you didn’t need to study for a test or anything.
“Little bookworm..” he teased as he watched you look away shyly. He sat down next to you. “Need any help?” You shrug, “well.. all I’m doing is reading and highlighting.” Steve nods, “god you’re the only student who actually likes to study.. and not party you’re different.”
You smirk, “I guess.” You said embarrassed and shy. Mr Harrington laughed, “god sorry if I’m bothering you.” You laughed too, “it’s okay.. I don’t mind if you stay, pretty sure you’re busy anyway.” Mr Harrington shakes his head, “not really I finish grading.. you did very good.”
You smirk, “I’m glad..” he nods as he went over to look at what book you’re reading. As he leaned over he was pretty close you can feel his breath on you. You try so hard not to bite your lip.
“Hmm reading valley of the dolls.. Intresting choice.” He smiled as he looked at you. “Yeah.. just wanted to read more.” “Good.. very good.” He got up as he sighs, “how long are you gonna be here?” You look up at him and sigh, “um soon gonna leave.. why?”
Mr Harrington smirks, “is it okay I walk you back to your apartment? Or dorm?” He said a bit nervous but you nodded, “of course.. that’s very sweet Mr Harrington.” Steve smirked, “just.. call me Steve.” You nod.. “okay Steve.”
Once you were all done packing up your things Mr Harrington or “Steve” walked you to your apartment. “So you don’t live at one of the dorms here?” You shake your head, “no…I couldn’t afford the whole package and my apartment small so..” you said embarrassed but Steve looked like he fully get it.
“Yeah.. just focus on your studies, you’re a very smart girl.” You blush, “you think?..” Steve scoffed and looked at you as if you were crazy. “Cmon you’re A plus student and I found you at a library.” You smirk laughing with him. “I guess..”
As you made it to your apartment he smiled, “guess I’ll see you tomorrow?” You nodded, “yes.. um have a good night.” You said awkwardly, what else could you say to your teacher?..
Steve smirks, “you too…” and just like that he left. God you had butterflies in your stomach. As you open the door to see your best friend and your roommate Lexi. “Oh my god!! You guys were walking?!” She said in a rush and overly happy. You scoff, “you saw us through the window?!” You said as if she’s crazy.
“Oh cmon I heard his voice he has no business being over here now.. did you guys..” she said and gestured with her fingers. Your eyes widened. “You are disgusting.. but no.” You laughed and walked into the apartment. “So then what did yall do?” She said bored now as she drank her wine and sat down on the couch.
“Well I was studying and I guess he saw me and said hi..” Lexi smirks at you, “I think he likes you.. cmon what teacher says hi when they see them study? It’s like mind your business.” She teased as you roll your eyes.
“Cmon he’s nice leave him.” She shakes her head “yeah to you.. when I had class with Mr Harrington he hated everyone it seemed like.. but oh then you came and he’s world went upside down.” She teased more. “You’re over thinking it.” You said and went into your room to rest. You didn’t want to over think it too.
The next day at the college campus you were walking to Steve.. or Mr. Harrington class there he was talking to another girl.. you try not to be jealous I mean he’s a grown adult you had no control over him. You watched the way he smiled and look at her, you should’ve known he want someone his age.
You walked over to your desk quiet. You didn’t make eye contact with Mr Harrington but felt his eyes on you. During the whole class you were silent. Once Lexi came into class you smile. “Hey.. what’s going on?” She asked since she was late as hell. You shrug, “nothing really.” She can tell something was wrong you were always happy not sulking..
As you looked down at your paper Mr Harrington was watching you, he noticed you didn’t look at him at all.. or smile like usual. It felt odd to him he really liked seeing you smile. He thought “maybe I scared her off yesterday?..” but he knew he wanted to talk to you after class.
As class was finally over you got all your things then Mr Harrington came over to your desk, “hey.. you okay?” He asked and you nodded still packing up. “Um.. you sure? Did I scare you last night? You shake your head again and sigh. Steve sighs too. “Um.. what you doing after school?”
Your eyebrow raise, “might go out why?” You said close off. “Oh.. I thought maybe we can see eachother again at the library.” He said trying to seem casual about it. You shrug, “don’t know..” you got up as Steve sighs did he really fuck it up?..
“Okay.. have a good day.” He said and you left without a goodbye. You would usually say something sweet back but now your so distance?.. he went back to his desk and try to figure out what he did wrong.
As the day was finally over Steve was packing all his things as he was he saw you through the window near a tree, he smiled and wanted to wave to you so badly but then as he was there was a guy walking towards you. Steve watched as he try so hard no to go over to you.
As you were near the tree you notice one of your friends Simon, “hey..” he said as you smiled. “Hi..” Simon smirks, “I was wondering if you wanna go out tonight.” You paused as you smirk, you thought about how Steve or “Mr Harrington” was talking to that girl maybe you can make him jealous.
“I would love that…” you smiled as Simon smirks. “Alright I’ll pick you up at 5 will go to this frozen yogurt shop that open.” You nod, “can’t wait..” and walked off as you did you saw Mr. Harrington through the window. As you made eye contact he looked away embarrassed.
As you made it to the library you found Lexi of course doing nothing. “Hey.. guess what.” You said smiling as you sat down next to here. “What now about Mr Harrington?” You roll your eyes. “No Simon asked me out..” Lexi smirk, “and you said no? Thought you were keeping it loyal to Mr Harrington.” She teased.
“I saw him with some girl.. so I thought.” Before you can continue she cut you off. “You wanna make him jealous!! Oh god yes.” She said super happy. You scoffed, “what’s so good about that?” Lexi rolls her eyes. “Well if he sees you with him maybe he’ll really try to get you to be his.”
You smirk maybe you should make a full plan. “Okay.. so what’s next?” Lexi smirk. “Where something sexy.. but not over the top just something that will make Steve.” She smirks saying his real name. “Go crazy over and make him think that you really wanna try to look good for Simon.”
You nod.. “okay but how can I make Steve see me with him? I’m not gonna invite Steve to the date with me..” Lexi smirk, “I’ll just talk about your date with Simon in front of him and make sure he hears everything about it duh.” You laugh, “okay.. well then let’s do it.”
After making your little plan there you were “chilling” with Lexi leaning on the wall near some other classes especially Mr Harrington class as Lexi spoke up about Simon. You smirk as you saw Steve walking in the hallway to his classroom.
“So Simon?.. are you excited for your date..” she emphasizes date loud enough for Steve to hear. You blush, “of course.. he so sweet to me.” As Steve was walking and hearing about a date he went into his classroom and decided he wanted to overhear your conversation maybe check out who this “Simon” is.
As Steve was now in his classroom but really he was just overhearing, he really did care about you. And he knew it was wrong to have a student teacher thing but you were so beautiful and so ahead of life he really wanted to try with you. Lexi smirks as she speaks up. “So how serious is this?” She raised her eyebrows for you to keep going.
“Oh depends if he will kiss me tonight..” you said louder as Steve eyes widen as heard you say kiss. He definitely didn’t want you kissing this Simon guy who probably couldn’t treat you as good as he can. He scoffed but then covered his mouth quick hoping you didn’t hear that. But of course you did as you and Lexi held in your laugh.
“Well.. let’s see if he can even get to first base.” Your eyes widened hearing Lexi say that. “Maybe..” you said back as you were gonna continue on that’s when Mr. Harrington interrupted. “Hey sorry girls.. but can we talk about this somewhere else?..” he said trying to keep it professional.
Lexi smirks. “Sure..” Mr Harrington nods, “before you go let’s talk about your grades miss.” He said looking at you as you nodded. “Alright..” you said and went into the classroom as you looked at Lexi on more time as she winked at you.
“What’s wrong?..” you asked a bit confused as Mr Harrington sits down and gestured you to the same. “Look.. I-I shouldn’t even be doing this but.. don’t go on that date” he said as you raise your eyebrow. Damn Lexi plan did work. “Why Mr Harrington?” Steve shakes his head. “Don’t.. don’t call me that like I said Steve okay? It makes it sound so much worst when you say that.”
You nod, “okay.. well Steve why are you annoyed?” Steve looks down embarrassed. “Well.. I-I thought we had something I mean.. I guess you don’t feel the same.”
You looked away.. “I.. I thought you had is a girlfriend is all..” you decide to admit how you really felt. Steve shakes his head and came closer to you. “What made you think that?” You sigh and looked away embarrassed. “It’s.. stupid.” Steve looked at you and decide to make a big move and hold your hand. “Talk to me.. we can’t keep doing this to eachother.. let’s tell the truth.” He said as he waited for you to answer.
You nodded and looked at him. “Okay.. well I saw you with this girl and I don’t know I just thought maybe you didn’t like me anymore.” Steve smirks as he shakes his head. “Cmon.. no you’re beautiful and I mean all these little hints and comments I’ve been making to you do mean something.”
You look down back at your hands seeing his hands touch yours made your heart beat a bit faster. “Well.. I don’t want you in trouble for being with a student..” Steve nods. “Me too.. and if I do get caught it be awful. But you are an adult you’re 22, you know what you want.” And it was true but you felt bad even thinking about a relationship with someone older.
“I know I’m not young and partying like the boys here.. but I’m mature enough to know what I want.” He said as he took his hand and place it on your cheek rubbing your face. “I’m really scared if I get you in trouble.” Steve nods understanding. “I get it.. maybe we can take things slow and be more careful with each other.”
You smile at the thought of that. “Okay..” you let out a small whisper. Steve nods glad you guys were now on the same page. “So.. still going out with Simon or do you wanna spend time tonight with me?” You looked away blushing and shy as Steve laughs. “There she is.. that girl I fell in love with.”
“I do wanna hangout tonight but.. I feel bad if I leave Simon.” Steve eyebrow raise as he leans closer as he was face to face to you. “Just.. say you’re studying with me, it’s not a lie really.” He teased as you laughed. As you smirked he looked down to your lips as he leaned in kissing you.
You were very shock but you leaned in anyway it’s what you been wanting. As he grips your face you moaned softly as Steve pulled back to see you. “So what you say?..” you nod. “Okay.. I’ll stay with you tonight.” Steve smiles, “good.. let’s meet up at my place at 9.” He wrote down on paper his address and his number.
“See you soon sugar.” You smirk and nod and left as you did you show Lexi the note as her eyes widen. “No fucking way!!” She said excited for you as you guys hug. “Thank god your plan worked.” Lexi laughs. “I’m a fucking genius cmon let’s get you ready to bang your teacher.” She said as took you hand to hurry up.
You roll your eyes. “Don’t say it like that!”
