My piece for the Memento Mori Curse of Strahd Fanzine vol 2 @strahdzine !! This was so fun to draw and so cool to be part of!!
Thing im considering doing is offering to draw backgrounds for people. I have so many friends who say they hate drawing backgrounds and its a sentiment i hear quite often online and in art communities im in. Like i mentioned i was excited for environment sketching in the class im in and like 5 different people went “what youre insane i hate backgrounds”. I actually fucking love drawing backgrounds and i have made the offer to my friends like hey if you have a piece that needs a background and you don’t want to draw it ill do it for you collaboratively! And im considering making it a commission option for me like ill draw a background for you and ill charge based on the complexity: like a forest in one point perspective with a few trees will probably be like 20-30 bucks and then as it gets more complex (like a cathedral with 3 point perspective and a lot of ornate details) will be more!! Idk is this anything?
Some examples (tbh the second and third are from last year theyre older so i am actually even better than that now). The collection are just thumbnail concepts of bigger environments im designing. Idk if it’s something ppl would pay for but maybe! Maybe when work slows a little.
