5 people want a challenge
âHaha! Jackpot!â Green exclaimed excitedly as silver coins ran like water out of the slot machine and into the tray beneath. His eyes took in the sight of the coins hungrily, the light reflecting off of them into his hazel eyes. Rubbing his hands together, he took the tray up to the front, quickly cashing in the lot. A few moments later he pocketed his earnings for the night, and headed to the bar.Â
But going there meant going through the allies to avoid passing the gym, that Daisy was staying in. If she saw him out this late, she would drag him in and never let him leave. Shuddering at the thought he stuck his hands into his pockets. The ally was rather slim, just enough for one person to pass through easily. Sighing slightly at the person standing at the person standing in front of the entrance, he tapped their shoulder. âHey, can I get by?â he asked.
Viridian wasnât particularly a large city however with all the small alleyways it was easy to lose oneself â or ones Pokemon if you werenât careful. This was the current state of the petite ex-champion who had spent the last hour searching through every alley she could find in search of her Furret, a particularly mischievous Pokemon that tended to bolt at the first wiff of adventure. Â âAbbott! Ugh.â The teen groaned as she headed down another alley, glancing around she grimaced Lyra knew the normal-type would return tracking Lyra by her scent but still it was always unnerving being away from the spindly little guy. Leaning against abuilding to take a break she took out her Pokegear and began flipping through the apps halfheartedly looking for some sort of amusement.
She had gotten caught up in her own little world when she was tapped on the shoulder from behind. Wheeling around even in the small space she put her hands up in a mock fighting stance even while Green spoke. Seeing just who it was her face flushed automatically â Oh how embarrassing.
Immediately dropping her hands to her side she laughed sheepishly hoping the dim light would cover her nearly fluorescent blush. âA-ah Mr. Oak Iâm so sorry.â Ah she knew him? No surprise seeing how he was the Champion and current leader of the Viridian gym. âIâll get right out of your way.â Biting her lip the petite woman turned on her heel all too eager to leave the awkward situation.
